watched it last night and I haven’t enjoyed a film that much in ages. Great action scenes, nicely violent and no girl power bulls~~~

I notice it was made in 2006 so was before the feminists started trying to ruin all forms of entertainment and I highly recommend it to everyone on here

The second film threw in the girl s~~~. Like, yeah, right.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

didn’t even know there was a sequel – now I know there is and that is has the usual female s~~~ in it I will avoid. Thanks for the heads up!

kill me now – the sequel does look the exact opposite to the great original…

sorry multiple posts but this is a good thread I found on this film

talks about female roles in films generally and is worth a read

300: Rise of an Empire is a feminist wet dream. from TheRedPill

Why did you have to go and make me feel old?

didn’t even know there was a sequel

I have yet to meet anyone who will admit to seeing it. Apparently it’s that bad. I think Frank Miller even shelved the unfinished graphic novel it’s based on to avoid association with this stinker.

    Rant-
Ok, one of my hobbies is reading sci-fi and fantasy. I don’t know what the deal is, but like 90% of the new books coming out in fantasy this year feature a “strong woman main character”. Ok if the author was female I guess I get it, they may be writing from their viewpoint or whatever…( I’m still not going to buy the book!) … The problem I see is a lot of authors I enjoy who are male are writing new series with this garbage. Not sorry, I’m not interested in female assassin/ barbarian/space captain etc… They are basically using the same formula as the men’s stories, but replacing them with women… Just like they had to ruin ghostbusters, lord of the flys etc…

The sequel still has some good fight scenes.

It’s only two chicks that do anything, King Leonidas Wife, and the sister of King Xerxes.

Leonidas Wife doesn’t do anything meaningful until the end of the movie so you can cancel her out.

Xerxes sister is the feminist wet dream you are referring to.
