Of all the current pop-culture movie franchies to get the feminazi treatment, the last one I would suspect is James Bond, 007!

Gillian Anderson is totally up for being the next James Bond

TLDR Edition:

Actor Daniel Craig has inhabited the character of James Bond for four films, but has hinted he might leave the role. That means speculation is running rampant about who could step into the superspy’s shiny shoes. Names like Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston have floated around, but one of the wilder ideas is to cast Anderson of “X-Files” fame as the next superspy. Anderson is on Tumblr under the name Chewie’s Girlfriend (a reference to Chewbacca from Star Wars). She recently answered a series of questions on the platform, one of which was “What’s the best rumour you’ve ever heard about yourself?” Her answer: “That I might be the next Bond.”

I expect to be stomped to death, but not only I do not care, but think the idea is interesting. In fact, I would enjoy to see a gender swap every damn thing. Go on with Superwoman, Wonderman. Make Gandalf a wise old woman and Chun Li a highly sexually objectified man(no homo). I will be entertained.

The new ghostbusters didn’t convice me to pay to watch but it was not because it was all woman. But I will probably watch it for free with a friend that will certainly get it on Netflix, DVD, or whatever is available these days.

On the other hand, maybe I’m just reading too much on these, and people are not as upset as I think they are.

P.S: not sure if the authors were predicting all these, but in Avatar The Last Airbender cartoon there is a jab on bad movie adaptations. Aang and Toph had their genders swaped. The former hated, and the latter loved it.

If you really want to watch the GhostC~~~ers fail, you can always just watch the movie for free online on a free streaming site. It’s what I do.

The point is that Tolkien wrote Gandalf to be a man. Why switch it to be a female? There are several strong females in that story. Why change what the original author wrote?

I’m not against strong chicks, if it makes a good story. Alien, Resident Evil, others.

That part would be interesting, seeing how they portrayed the male love interest (interesting but maybe not in a good way. “Watching a car crash” interesting). Or maybe it would be a lesbian love interest. That’s not interesting, just sad.
