Whats really funny are the girls who are perfectly willing to be your DTF Wednesday night NSA hookup when they think you’re poor finding out you actually have money. 50+ years old here, and planning my retirement in the very near future. I have seen exactly what you are describing. What has worked for me is to pretend I don’t realize it’s happening. If you are just so clueless or unaware that all that attention from women indicates some sexual/romantic interest from them, it forces them to put themselves out on a limb and be clear about it. That puts them at risk for rejection, and they have always stopped short of it… which allows me to continue to play dumb and ignore it.

If once or twice a year, you make some reference to ‘my girlfriend said___’, the word will go around that you have a girlfriend. Not that they respect your relationship, but this raises the risk of rejection so high that even the most desperate of them will not take the chance on being rejected in favor of that other woman.

It’s like holy water to a vampire… 🙂
