I recently watched the animated Pixar movie “Inside out” which came about about a year ago. The movie is about the 5 emotions inside a teenage girls head which are: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger. The movie showcases how all of these emotions are in constant battle with one another and how they influence the decision making process in this young girl’s life. They also showcase the male brain which has basically 1 emotion which is sports, laziness and not concerned with just about anything.

There is an interesting article about what being a man is portrayed like in Pixar movies.

This movie got me thinking more about disgust emotion behind the majority females in society which I like to call “The Ew Factor” The disgust emotion in the movie was a pretentious and finicky typical American female who was always on guard to be disgusted by something or someone. What a way to go through life! Could you imagine from the time you wake up until the time you go to bed to always be on guard to simply hate everything you come across in your daily world? It seems women these days are so high and mighty on themselves that they are disgusted by most things in their lives simply because the real world doesn’t care about them or cater to their every whim. They use this disgust mechanism to whine and complain to manipulate the world around them to get what they want. Do you think females around the world are born with this emotion or they are taught they can get away with complaining simply because they are attractive in Western Civilizations?

Jimmy Fallon did a hilarious skit about the ewww factor played by Seth Rogan and Zac Efron.

I just watched the movie last night and thought the same thing. What’s sad is it still was a good movie. Imagine if they took the time to show and try to realistically emulate a man’s inside like they did the girl. I know they won’t but it’s nice to think about. Having two daughters I can vouch for how realistic I think the girl’s reaction were. All that talent and it’s so one-sided at Pixar.
