The human condition:
As a human being, “you” (your consciousness) are the self-aware electromagnetic storm created inside a five-pound piece of fat and protein and nerve fibers that is permanently encased in and dependent on a weak, vulnerable piece of meat primarily controlled by pre-programmed base instincts. Every day, just controlling “your” body is a huge struggle. Eventually, your body will decay and die, and the storm will stop. And you will be over.
That is the human condition, multiplied by about 8 billion individuals. It keeps multiplying, always organizes around situations that allow its continuation as a species. Females and males both have to deal with the human condition, because they were created and raised by it.
But you, as a man, have to deal with the human condition plus the male condition, which is this:
The male condition:
Your body can’t produce babies, and it has high testosterone. These are both HANDICAPS.
– Not being able to have kids means you have a default status of “non-contributor” to overcome at every turn. All of society sees you as a non-functional, non-productive person rather than a nurturing, caring productive person. You will be expected to give more than you get, ALWAYS. It is the only way to justify membership in society, because you cannot contribute children. You will accept this duty without question, because you were given birth to and raised by a female. You will permanently have imprinted in your mind the idea that females are better nurturers and more caring than males. All of society shares this imprint, and as a male you will always be seen as less nurturing, trustworthy and supportive.
– Having high testosterone means you desperately DESIRE. You desire experience, sex, accomplishment, power, and you desire it NOW. This makes you extremely vulnerable to manipulation and trickery. A female can generally flash her body at you, and you will be so consumed with desire that she can basically tell you to do whatever she wants and you will comply, unless you are aware of what is going on.
The male condition is a handicap. Using this handicap against males, females have negotiated a permanent status of privilege within the human condition. This privilege includes the ability to continually shame, discredit, judge and demand service and support and attention from males. In order to claim this privilege, a woman simply has to demonstrate that she is a woman. As a presumed productive, nurturing, contributing member of society, she immediately claims the right to demean, accuse, criticize and judge you. The reciprocal right is non-existent.
As a male, you have NO BARGAINING POWER that can switch these roles, other than being fortunate enough to be an extremely exceptional male, so you have something special to offer. If you are extremely exceptional, congratulations; you got very lucky.
I believe accepting this reality is key to truly understanding what it means to be a man. Women will constantly tell you how “lucky” you are to be a man. Women will NEVER admit that they have a privilege. And they will always tell you there is something wrong with you AS A MAN for thinking women are privileged.
But once you recognize how easy it is for a woman to get support, attention, money, respect, etc., compared to a man — and how quickly men rush to give women these things — you cannot go back to believing men are superior. The truth is, men were born WITHOUT something that women have, and have a brain-addling hormone, testosterone, that allows women to spin men around and disorient them at every turn. And men are constantly trying to earn/buy/negotiate with women in this state. Women hold the all the power, as long as we try to negotiate.
The key to MGTOW is to stop negotiating or working with women at all. And stop dreaming that somehow we will outfox/out bargain/out power women. That’s never going to happen. We can simply stop playing the game and walk away.
Sadly, there are limits to the benefits of this, but it is the best deal a man can get. I don’t pretend men can ever end this cycle. The truth is, women will keep popping out and “nurturing” new rounds of kids, half of whom are male, and using them as new cannon fodder in this privilege cycle.
We MGTOWs are a product of women. We can’t escape that. And we can’t end the cycle. We can only remove ourselves from it.
That is the male condition.
