I have been thinking about this for some time. The MGTOW lifestyle seems to me to be the same as simply being a confirmed bachelor. If you decide to be a bachelor it is because you have your reasons. The MGTOW discussions are really just a deeper discussion into these reasons.

Many YouTube videos on MGTOW speak of the anger that is directed towards the movement. When I tell people that I am a bachelor and that I intend to stay as such I do not find that people tend to worked up in the least.

A man can be a bachelor and yet an abused mangina bitch or white knight enslaved to women directly or via the legal system and catering to their every whim. This is why you don’t encounter an adverse reaction.

MGTOWs can not be construed as such. MGTOWs explicitly do not serve that c~~~iphile system. In fact the existence of MGTOWs is a threat to it.

Labeling oneself so as not to encounter angry reactions from women and white knights is a rather pussy thing to do. I don’t and never will give a f~~~ for their approval or opinions.

If you are MGTOW when you are young you have no heart.
If you're not MGTOW when you are 20 you have no brain.

I’ve never used the term MGTOW, I too would just use the term bachelor if pressed. The fattest women seem to get the angriest, the thinner and in shape women are completely not bothered and in fact encourage it. But in general, you should ignore everyone and just live the way you want to live.

Western women suck and even women should know that by now.

In today’s America, you should not compelled to fall under either description – nor owe anyone an explanation.

The fact is, that at this moment in time, men have the upper hand for the first time; but it does not start until post-30, when their eggs are close to spoiling forever.  Next time any woman asks you about your bachelor lifestyle, or asks what MGTOW is, simply say in a slow direct but mildly sarcastic manner “Umm… I’ll call you…”.  <- Trust me, no matter who they are, if they are in “Clock ticking” years, women know what that means because they have been brushed off that way a dozen times in their desperate attempt to pick over what is left.

    Sovereignty above all else.

Exactly, we should be able to do what the f~~~ we want.

Seeing how much mgtow gets criticized, I have some doubts about how free our society truly is.

It is a common failing of childhood to think that if one makes a hero out of a demon the demon will be satisfied.

“Confirmed bachelor” would be one aspect of MGTOW.  However, I believe that there are other schools of thought that go deeper than that, into not being manipulated by society period, with the typical marriage relationship and dating (and kowtowing to the wishes of women), to other things also out there.  So, I would say it is deeper than just “confirmed bachelor” although that can be a decent chunk of it.  Part of this deeper part is a man not allowing anything else to define him that he can’t agree to.

Screw em, I’m just doing my thing, taking care of my interests, on my own terms. Am I hurting anyone? Nope

Confirmed bachelor, MGTOW, or just a grumpy old man. The label doesn’t matter, it is all about taking care of myself first.
