Not sure if anyone else here saw this, but 60 minutes ran a story concerning the false rape allegation that occurred in 2006 wherein members of the Duke Lacrosse team were accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a party.  The story surprisingly did not pander to rape accusers nor suggest that there were inappropriate actions but rather exposed just how horrible the team’s coach and players were treated by the community and university despite there being NO SINGLE SHRED OF EVIDENCE that anything unlawful occurred.  Watching this you could tell that the coach still harbored a sense of disbelief that society and the media would turn their backs on the Duke players on the whim of a woman’s word and nothing else.  One interesting point he brought up; “you google my name and the first thing that pops up is rapist.” Ten years later and this man still has to face the consequence of a woman’s fictional stories.  He is lucky in the sense that he had a well known reputation as a coach and his name was eventually (though much more quietly than the accusation) cleared though he was fired for …… well I really can’t tell you why he was fired because he did nothing but coach athletes in the game of Lacrosse and subsequently be associated with them via his coaching role.  However, the average guy facing such allegations looking for a job is no doubt forced to carry the burden of a rapist stigma for his entire life.  Again, based on nothing more than a woman making up a story with no shred of evidence.

Perhaps more interesting is the fact that a mainstream outlet like 60 minutes would air such a story in today’s world as I’m sure there will be a s~~~storm of feminist letters/emails that will still try and accuse the show of victim blaming.  This is actually the 2nd story in a few weeks that the show somewhat fairly highlighted men’s value over women.  The other being a study of the Marine Corps Infantry Officer Course wherein the viewer at home could actually see just how miserably women fail when facing the same physical challenges male Marines do.  No woman has ever made it further than training day 1 in the 88 training day program. I think this may be a reaction to the oversaturation of women’s stories/issues that has engulfed our society in the last few years.  At a certain point, it becomes too much and people will resist it even in the left-leaning media if it becomes unbearable.  Between the undoubted bundles of “women’s issues” Hillary Clinton will throw at us during her campaign run and the ridiculous amount of feminist methodology we are being exposed to through our education system (going back to college presently it is a constant “women’s rights this, female power that, women’s caucus, and of course there have been entire class periods in my business program simply dedicated to the plight that women face in the workplace, blah blah blah) it may be possible that some media venues either push back or choose to be unique as a means for differentiated media competition on the constant feminization of everything and bring a non-bulls~~~ perspective to stories.  In any case, both of these pieces may be worth checking out  if for no other reason but to validate the amount of bulls~~~ women espouse in their ideologies as well as how society is quick to take their side.

I didn’t know about this but it does sound interesting especially in todays climate where false rape accusations seem to be all the rage. Maybe CBS isn’t on the feminism bandwagon like the rest of the networks or not as much at least. I don’t watch news but I can’t think of any gamergate or pro feminist story from CBS. Also while gamestop doesn’t criticize Anita Sarkeesian they never ran the gamers are dead articles nor do they really ever post articles on a pro or anti gamer gate side and they are owned by CBS. It shall be interesting to see how feminists react.

I saw it and it p~~~ed me off. The woman who was allegedly assaulted was a stripper by the way. We need to make these lying sacs of s~~~ shut the hell up. The best way to do that is to file a lawsuit and accuse them of slander.

I'm married to the game, but she broke her vows.
