By that I mean all the additional bulls~~~ that seems to happen around this time of year.
I have never been able to get into the “Christmas spirit” without getting totally hammered, usually alone. My experience with this “season” has always been negative due to either being deployed, or working (as an adult) or in a foster home/boys home (as a child, I only lived with my family for about 8 years).
The distaste for Christmas, and pretty much all “holidays” for me usually stems from some bulls~~~ drama and demands for my time, money, and efforts introduced by some mostly irrelevant sources.
Both my ex wives would demand to travel half way or more across the country to visit their families, not surprisingly I bore the costs of either driving or flying, and all ancillary “costs” that go with it. Only to get there exhausted, irritated, and enroute to yet another large bill to pay afterwards, and that’s the positive part. Without fail, there was always some sort of drama that screwed up any chance of actually enjoying the trip. I actually paid to fly my first wife to her family so she could f~~~ drug addicts ( i found out later).
Between marriages there was some semblance of peace and quite, mostly due to being deployed.
After my second divorce, I would put up with the Christmas crap for the sake of my daughter, until demands to transport her across the country to “spend Xmas, and the summer holidays with her mothers family” started to become the norm. So I just shut up and paid for it like a good little simp.
During the last 16 years I’ve noticed a significant increase in the amount of pressure to buy s~~~, be with s~~~, and enjoy s~~~ during this time of year, and I only enjoy leaving a s~~~. Not surprising is the increase in attention I get from women during this time. So I don’t participate in the consumerism, associated forced familiarity , nor guilt of not giving. I have learned to enjoy being the grumpy old bastard that hates everything 🙂

I get the funniest looks when I say
“I don’t care who you are you fat bastard…get you and those stupid looking dogs off my roof, or I’m getting my shotgun”

I know, this was a TLDR post. I hope you enjoyed it

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

I hate all of the social obligations that christmas brings. The best part about it is that the January sales usually start on christmas day.

I’m much happier hibernating for the most part or making family visits as brief as possible. I haven’t got a plate this year so Christmas sex is probably not on the cards unless i drag myself out on Christmas Eve on the pull in the local bars.

Close relatives get inexpensive presents and cards sent by mail The rest get snail mail cards or an email. I stay home and hibernate.

I have learned the hard way not to accept invitations from friends or groups of non-relations. This never works out well for me. I just tell them I have other plans.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

holidays are what YOU make them..unfortunately , people around us tend to go with a ” mob mentality ” with little tolerance of someone who dosen’t want to celebrate THEIR way …f~~~ that ! this MGHOW will not participate in the mandatory bulls~~~ ! hey, a feww weeks from now it will have passed .easy to bail out of things if you don’t want to be there …..do not do what you do not want to do .

Most, if not all commercial holidays are a joke. While I don’t mind the family aspect of it (if your family is tolerable to be around, that is), the materialistic obsession and craziness that ensues is just something that stresses me out. If I were still a blue piller in a relations~~~, I’d have extra stress of some money hungry bimbo berating me for not spending money on gifts, etc. And with these c~~~s, trust me, anything you get them will disappoint them because what they really expect is a big overpriced chunk of rock for their finger. Don’t let them dupe you in to thinking otherwise.
