Now that we are on the brink of 2020, I would like to talk to you about some market trends that are going on right now in the world.

Transportation! It’s always been a hot button topic. But as you know, each year (((they))) try even harder to make it more miserable to purchase the things we like. In fact, the value of an Object is the one thing that is out of their control. And as Men, we have always had intrinsic value that can not be measured with a currency or coin.

Take the care market. We have Many factories just piling up cars. Waiting for them to be sold but cars are not selling at the rate of production. Much of this has to do with the lack of men in relations~~~s willing to buy these items for women. So, as of right now, the trend to buy a car is fast fading away on the new generation. In fact, the cost to own a car is steadily increasing. And so is the amount of skill or knowledge needed in order to operate one.

What I am seeing however, is that more men that LOVE cars are starting to go back to buy these prizes items and restore them to their former glory. Even fall in love with their motor cars. It’s been a trend for some time now. But what we are seeing is more men now doing this on their own in their garages, their homes etc.

Its a great turn of events for men. Even the Motorcycling industry is doing quite well. More and more independent shops and business are starting to sprout up all over. And this trend is going to keep on going for as long as the golden boy Boomers still love their machines.

So what does that say about women? Well. THey seem to be the only ones left to market these cars too. And as masculinity is no longer valued by the masses of men and women. Very few cars out there seem to focus on the rugged tough nature of a masculine motorwerk.

I’m happy as a clam! I’m gunning to do so many things this summer, and even today! And all of it is possible thanks to so many other men just reaching out to others and sharing their love of cars. Electronics and history. And with the ever loving push of making cars more automated and system of transportation being automated, its going to be a great time for men in the future who love these machines.

In fact, the number of mechanics out there are dwindling as the number of office workers rise.

In fact just having a garage is all you need to enjoy or take part in this success. The old skool of men that did things is coming back. More and more men are starting to enjoy their futures. Enjoy their lives and enjoy the things they have always wanted to partake in. Much of that car culture is starting to bloom all over the world.

In fact, it seems that cars are so generic now, they could just keep selling the same models year after year without doing much more than showing a fancy add that shows a new color or some new wheels. It’s the best time ever for some automakers. And with the youth of today not caring so much about cars as they did about it in the past, they are only going to get more cost effective and disposable in time.

So with that, I would like to show you some of the great places where the world locks away a motor car ready for the enthusiast to grab hold of their dreams.

For me, I will always love the Rover SD-1.

One of the most beautiful engines ever made.

Its also interesting what men have done to keep their rides going. And keep an eye on the budget.

And its never been a better time to make something new!

Motorcycles for the thrill without the danger.

I have always loved 3 wheels cars. But in the USA, they are motorcycles. Love it.

    THe future of trucking.

Amazing how just 2% of the USA move so many items all over.

Some of the coolest trucks in the world.

Camping and RV’s have always been cool since the Airstream and the GM version of what camping is suppose to be like.

I have to admit, I always wanted something quirky like this when traveling. Perfect for self driving tech of the future!

Custom trucks have always been a love affair of mine.

There is just something about loading it up and the ruggedness of the hardware.

I’ve never been that great and determining whether a market was changing or if it was just me. But yes, I am seeing that the reasons for buying a new car are dwindling. There isn’t any grand new feature that compels someone to drop their current vehicle for a new one. There only buying if the need a different type of vehicle due to lifestyle change, or their current vehicle just isn’t running.

Kind of along the same lines as you mentioned above, I think there is a growing trend to personalize your vehicle rather than just get the latest thing. Personalization has always been available, but it seems like it’s more popular and readily available than before. That’s probably due to men having more freedom, and partially because get parts is easier than ever, thanks to the internet.

I’ve thought about getting an older truck, and have a few projects to fix it up and such, but I don’t have that great of a need right now. But I absolutely love doing projects/upgrades around the house. These are things I would never have the time or money to do if I was still married.

    Ok. Then do it.

Millennials like myself don’t see cars as anything cool or special. To me, I view a car no differently than I view a shovel. They’re both tools designed for a specific purpose. What I want is reliability and a low cost of ownership. Eventually I’ll want self driving capabilities, but I’ll still want to own my own car. The idea of using an automated taxi is not very appealing to me.

I view driving as a chore – the same way I view using a shovel. If I can get the job done without having to do the driving/shoveling, I’ all for it.

I think that depends very much on where you live more than your age. If you live in city where people tend to walk or use public transportation, a car is just a tool. But in rural and suburban areas, cars are still very much a reflection of the person.

Eventually I’ll want self driving capabilities, but I’ll still want to own my own car. The idea of using an automated taxi is not very appealing to me.

I have no doubt that the law is going to require a licensed driver seated at the wheel for atleast a decade after self-driving cars are allowed. Plus, people will still want their own for personal style and to haul groceries, etc. I don’t really enjoy driving very much these days, but I agree that I would want my own vehicle.

    Ok. Then do it.

For guys into cars and trucks, that’s great, but to me they’re just a mode of transportation and a depreciating asset. Although I own a car, my time and money are largely allocated elsewhere.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham

It is a culture all to its own. From family oriented in the Latino community to select groups in match racing. It is a great way to have instant friends no matter where you go. Can drive one of my E30’s into an area I have never been and stop at a gas station or restaurant and before I have finished have an intro into the local community even if it is not Euro.
