Hey Guys, just wanted to drop a note and recommend an awesome movie I just saw called “The Admiral”.
The movie is about arguably the greatest maritime commander ever – the 16th Century Korean Admiral Yi Sun-Shin.
The movie is all about Admiral Yi’s final battle against the invading Japanese fleet in the year 1587. He had 12 ships against the 330 ships of the Japanese invasion force – and he destroyed them!
It features outstanding acting, props, costumes, soundtrack, etc… – it is all top notch and first rate.
And it wasn’t made by Hollyweird.
It was made as kind of a “State Project” by the Koreans in Korea. To the Koreans Admiral Yi is still a National Hero – on the order of America’s George Washington. If Admiral Yi hadn’t stopped the Japanese invasion there probably would not be a Korea as we know it today. As far as I could tell the screenplay was pretty much taken from Admiral Yi’s own war diaries – albeit this movie is only about his last battle to finally destroy the Japanese invasion force.
And there is no romance in it – read “NO WOMEN”. It’s only strategy and battles. And what battles! At points whist watching it I sometimes could not believe what I was seeing – not because anything was out of place or out-of-time for the 1580’s – but because of the sheer genius of what Admiral Yi did with his 12 ships against the Japanese 330 ships.
What a MGTOW movie!
Here it is on Slamazon:

I enjoy military history. Thanks for the suggestion.
12 vs. 300? It reminds me of Taffy 3, the battle of Samar gulf. 5 inch guns vs 18 inch guns.
Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.
Taffy 3 – awesome!
We were taught about Admiral Yi in OCS – and even back then his exploits sounded like serious “embellishment” – it seemed no one man could possibly do what he did.
Then I luckily came across an obscure University Press printing of his war diaries – written with the help of his Son at the end of his life – and it was a straighforward account of what he did to who and when he did it – and I got even more impressed with him.
There is a Wikipedia page about him that rings mostly true if you care to foloow up on this remarkable man further:

It seems pretty bad ass I will take a look at it.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
