I have just finished watching the 1965 film “How to Murder Your Wife” starring Jack Lemmon and the English actor Terry-Thomas.
For a 1965 film, it is surprisingly red-pilled. Wow! It talks about how married men have none of their wages to spend on themselves, are bullied by their wives and put on weight when married. At one point it also spoke of how women are only free until they are married, as they are provided for and can have little affairs on the side!
I am just so surprised so much truth was told in a film so old. However it is heavily wrapped up in a comedy guise.
I just didn’t think such a film would be made.
Anonymous12A lot of films were Red Pill back then. You had Westerns where the Confederates were the heroes or at least depicted fairly. There is also the Monroe film “How to Marry a Millionaire” where the women are depicted as money grubbing whores. Men made and wrote the films back then. Now women make them or Blue Pilled men chasing female approval.
I remember seeing one 1960s comedy quite a few decades ago, in which one character warns another not to go for beautiful blonde women, because they always want BBD, which he says stands for BIGGER BETTER DEAL. This is an early mention of hypergamy.
I just can’t remember the name of the film. I want to.
Anonymous1465 would be the waning days of freedom in Hollywood. Agenda got tighter and tighter from the 70’s (third wave feminism began being pushed) until now.
