I am currently undergoing a massive change in my whole world-view – and it is all due to reading posts on MGTOW.

I have always subscribed to the main planks of red pill-ism: female hypergamy, alpha-f~~~s-beta-bucks, “it’s just your turn”, cash and prizes are a woman’s Holy Grail, children are the ultimate fashion accessory, “I’m not haaaa-ppeeee, therefore the world must change to accommodate my demands, however ludicrous they might be”.

But I also realise that I have constructed a number of other frameworks in my head that have seriously circumscribed my entire life – which have now been blown out of the water by what I have seen written on these pages.

My epiphany can be summarised by the dictum “Own Your S~~~” – so simple, yet so powerful.

I have spent my whole life obsessively, hysterically, fanatically convinced that I have zero control over anything that happens in my life. I see now that I previously believed that every single other person in the world had the power to order me around – and rightly so.

In practical terms, these other people were parents, siblings, friends, women with whom I had relations~~~s, employers, the police – in fact, anyone who could faintly be considered an authority figure had me automatically quivering in impotent terror, utterly unable to stand up to them in any way.

Needless to say, allowing my life to be directed by people who, at best, couldn’t really give a s~~~ whether I lived or died, and, at worst, were actively malicious motherf~~~ers who sought to do me serious harm, has led to some catastrophic situations, none of which I wanted, but which I always felt completely powerless to avoid.

I “dealt” with all of this by being an alcoholic train-wreck of a man for 30 years.

I see now that I was mired in some pretty strange and destructive belief systems, which have caused me no end of problems.

Apologies for forgetting the name of the poster who wrote the article “Women do not have superpowers”, but this started me on the road to realising that I DID believe that women had superpowers – i.e. they were all-seeing, all-knowing, and 100% in control of their thoughts and actions. And therefore, whatever treatment I received at their hands must of necessity be justified.

I see now that I also extended this assumption of unassailable superiority to virtually everyone else I ever came across, as above.

It is now embarrassingly obvious to me that this is ten kinds of horse-s~~~: there IS no magical Illuminati of which every human being in the world except me is a member, granting every human being in the world except me untold – and unfair – privileges.

And as the scales fell from my eyes, the seemingly impenetrable bastion of the issues I have been struggling with – alcoholism, crushingly low self-esteem, professional self-sabotage, marital problems, inability to relate to other people on an equal footing – simply crumbled. Just like that.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart, my brothers, for collectively helping me to effect this paradigm shift in my life.

In the words of Clint Eastwood at the end of the scene in “Gran Torino”, when he puts his gun away after facing down the three black boys: “Oh Yeah”.

Gentlemen – we are at war.

They’re at “war” we’re living out our lives in the most peaceful bliss few men ever know or even get a taste of.

The gender war is over (for us), let them rage on to their own personal destruction, and whatever they drag to the pits of hell with them.

The moment we become aware of the reality over the gimmick we are told to believe, it changes everything. The fact that I let my ex into my life is my fault, but her actions to try to take me for everything I am worth is hers.

My attorney even asked me, after his first meeting with my ex, “what the f~~~ is wrong with that bitch!” That was my attorney who had handled murder trials, and other high documented cases. Yes, I went all out on a lawyer and while it cost me initially, it saved me years. The point is, even this guys who saw murderers and professional criminals found this women to be off her rocker. All I could say in reaponse was, “I made a mistake.”

The truth in what you write is a great realization that I believe all of us have gone through to get to this point. Just never forget this lesson, because a man can only take so much. As in Dirty Harry,

    Santiago, Brother,

I can relate to so much that you’ve said here – right down to the alcoholic behavior. I was taught to serve very young.

Could you please post the “Women do not have superpowers” link you referred to? I’d like to read it.

    Hey Tired,

The post isn’t on MGTOW after all – my bad – but on The Red Pill reddit:

Women don’t have superpowers. from TheRedPill

It’s not earth-shattering, but it made me realise that I had bought into the bulls~~~ it talks about 100%.

    Have a great weekend,

    Santiago

Your story is inspiring, thank you for sharing.
My own path forward has been similarly littered with destruction and human depravity from all sides.

That was very powerful and informative. I hope lurkers and those who need help read your post. You just basically laid out what this website is for and why KM works so hard to keep out the SJWs and other females as well as keeping it working quickly and efficiently. The more men this site saves the better.

When men have been beaten down by the state and heartless, narcissistic women this site is a bastion of male wisdom and information to help them understand why and what happened and just how women are. All I can say is spread the word to men who need the info presented here. I would like to recommend to KM to put in a start category. Pick out post that he or menbers feel would help men the most to start with. Give them some place to begin their healing.

Women's brains and vagina have one thing in common. There is nothing in there until a man puts something in there.
