A lot of guys who go to Thailand are looking for a good time with the sexy women in the red light districts. They bring a bar girl up to their hotel rooms for a night of wild sex.

Well, leave it to Miss Sourpuss (Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul) to spoil the fun:

“Tourists don’t come to Thailand for such a thing. They come here for our beautiful culture,” Kobkarn told Reuters.

“We want Thailand to be about quality tourism. We want the sex industry gone,” she said.

Prostitution is illegal in Thailand, but the government has left the red light districts alone because they help the economy. If they ramp up the police raids, the sex tourists will pack their bags and look for another nation to accommodate them.

Well that means thousands of middle aged Aussie men will have to travel to Phillipines or some other Asian s~~~hole brothel instead. And there will be less scenes like this:

“Tourists don’t come to Thailand for such a thing.”

Pretty sure sex is the first thing that pops into peoples heads when someone mentions they’re going to Thailand. Oh, you’re gonna visit the temples and watch Muay Thai? Yeah, right.

“They come here for our beautiful culture.”

Yeah, it just so happens ‘sucky sucky fi dorra’ is part of your culture. Crack down hard on the red light districts and your economy will suffer.

I’m not an expert, but I’m betting some mobster-types will lean on the administration and change her mind.

It’s probably more likely that large numbers of women and children will begin disappearing more noticeably that they were before.

The white slavery trade is still flourishing all over the world.

Her highness should be addressing that, instead, unless that’s her real game.

So, how will this play out? Pro’s and Con’s? Pro’s; Less spread of STD’s.
    Less human trafficking.
Less substance abuse (if that occurs at all within the confines of that kind of operation.

Con’s: Revenue impact on community, in both the hotel and bar/club, scene and alcohol profits.
Women will immediately be displaced from work. This means that the government would have to foot the bill unless these women have an alternative source/skillset to generate income.
Surge of ‘illegal’ operations as change takes place, assuming that some will resist change, they will only move their operations from out of sight of the public eye.
The government, while deeming prostitution as illegal, will also turn a blind eye as necessary, or use the operation as leverage when needed. (If seen this happen first hand). This leads to further internal corruption.

The list goes on and on. It will be interesting to see how this plays out though.

Funny, isn't it? How women thrive on a mans time, attention and resources, while simultaneously telling him he isn't enough...

It is like a billion dollar industry in Thailand. Everything set up around it. Wonder if miss sour has figured the tax dollars lost.

Given the potential of HIV to mutate out of control this might be their only choice.

Good riddance. Next step would be to outlaw an even greater scourge, Thai brides. So many Aussie men go down that path only to learn they are like super-powerful hand grenades – pull the ring and boom, there goes half your house!

Why not build an alternative ecconomy that makes prostitution less attractive to young women?

Then the laws of supply and demand added to social pressure, will make the Black ecconomy shrink on it’s own without forcing thousands of young women into unemployment or other areas of crime.

Actually, the funny thing is, there are a lot of He-She’s in Thailand that look better than her.

Does she have an Adam’s apple in that pic? LOL

There are ladyboys within 50 miles of me who are 50 pounds overweight that look better than her.

Adam’s apple, melting wax face, a cold scowl permanently affixed to her brow, and the corners of her mouth are stick turned down in perpetual disapproval

All that before I point out she’s older than Father Time.

They will get most of the resistance to this policy from women themselves. Women are embracing their inner harlot.

“Tourists don’t come to Thailand for such a thing. They come here for our beautiful culture,” Kobkarn told Reuters.

Sad to say, many people do go to the major cities of Thailand for sex. That being said, outside of the major cities away from places such as Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, up in the mountains, out in the countryside, in the temples, that is where one will find the good and REAL Thailand…the peace, the solitude, the nice people…and let’s not forget the awesome food..and legitimate Thai massages. There are (hopefully) many of us who visit Thailand for the “beautiful culture” (which it has) and not for cheap easy sex. Since I am now MGTOW and no longer worship at the “Temple of the Holy Vagina”, I am now free to enjoy Thai and other cultures of the world without the need of getting Pussy. If Thailand really wants to improve their country, they would do a better job of keeping sex predators from arriving, along with those with other serious criminal convictions. With the exception of the rare attempted scams in Bangkok, I have never had a problem with the locals in Thailand…it is the tourists or ex-pats I am sometimes wary of.

Women do not love men. Women only love what men can provide.
