I’m going to spend a week in Texas’ Hill Country riding motorcycle this spring.
I’ve been looking online for roads to ride, and places to see around Fredericksburg.
Any suggestions from any MGTOW brothers that have been to that area?
    Thanks in advance!

That area is famous for its wineries. If you are into wine, do a wine tour. (I am into the stuff, but haven’t toured Texas Hill Country yet.)

Let’s see if there isn’t a Wikipedia page about that. Why, yes there is! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_wine

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

I may have been there before but I don’t remember off the top of my head. My parents used to take me to all kinds of Texas landmarks as a kid. Texas is just a great state to drive/ride in. If I could, I’d take a joy ride road trip…just me and my car.

An hour away from Fredericksburg is the Salt Lick BBQ, 18300 FM 1826, Driftwood, TX 78619. They have fine brisket, ribs, and sausage. The chicken doesn’t blow my skirt up. A three meat plate will fill you up. BYOB. The have deputies from the local sheriff department directing cars to park. They are all wearing flannel shirts, jeans, a big belt buckle and a large gun. So if you want a taste of some Texas Country Culture, this may be for you.

In Fredericksburg there is the National Museum of The Pacific War. The actually have a WW II era attack submarine.

As RoyDal said, there are wineries there. I believe that vendors are willing to ship with large purchases. Beware. Some of the winery people that run the counters are just a bit clueless when it comes to customer service. One lady kept reusing the same glass when I was tasting about 6 different labels.

There is antique shopping there and in the surrounding area. Not to be confused with those antique “craft” stores. I have two pieces of antique furniture that I purchased there. Most vendors are willing to ship if you make a large purchase.

Just about every store is trying to sell you some pecan butternut horse tonsils jam or butter. Some are very tasty others not so much.

From there, you are just about equa distant from both San Antonio, and Austin. If you decide to go to either one, message me and I will tell you what I know.

"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.

Since you’re going to be on a bike you’ll want to look up Three Twisted Sisters. It is a loop of connecting roads that take you through some great twisties. It’s not the Tail of the Dragon, but you’re guaranteed a good ride that day.

The area around Fredericksburg is good and curvy too, especially if you ride South out of town toward I-10. If you continue Southeast on 10 it will take you to Boerne, pronounced Burney. Hwy 46 goes across to New Braunfels and it’s a nice ride too. I pick it up near the Natural Bridge Caverns all the time.

I’m near San Antonio, somebody has to be able to give you a ride report for the area West of there out by Kerrville. I took an accidental route once in the area of Junction that also had some really nice roads.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

It’s so funny reading about I-10 from other people, because that’s so close to where I am…but I’m near Galveston (about 30 minutes from 10). Gotta love how interstate highways work ๐Ÿ˜›

Back from my motorcycle trip from Texas Hill country.

Other than the (hundreds of) cattle guards, the roads where GREAT!
    I will go back again!

There was one “rain out” day, spent it at the Pacific War Museum. Also made it to the Alamo and Texas Ranger Museum before the flight home.

Had great BBQ for lunch every day (Salt Lick BBQ was my favorite).
    I even tried goat!

Got lots of pictures and riding video, after I get some posted online, I’ll add some links.
