What do you guys think about this? I am into the weird end of youtube now.
Anonymous3I am a physicist and this video on the first look is like a conspiracy theory made up by an amateur. They talk about gravity, and then play with magnets and a CRT TV (that is electromagnetic interaction, very different laws apply)
By the way, if any of our current theories is “totally wrong”, we would see it. But in fact, theory describes things to the current measurement accuracy.
The conspiracy theories always come with “free energy”. Bitch please! Sunlight on the Earth for 1 hour can provide a year of electric consumption of humanity. And we are close to invention of nuclear fusion reactors, that run on hydrogen that is the most common material in universe. So, energy is free, but of course, solar panels are still not cheap enough, and world-wide electric grid is still not strong enough to for example, run all of America (at night) from solar panels in Europe and Asia (in daylight the same time) and vice versa. And storing electricity for the night is also complicated, batteries have only a few thousands cycles in life.
The Tesla vs Einstein comparison is simply totally wrong. They had two very different approach, Einstein was into theory, and general relativity is real, one has to adjust the atomic clocks on GPS satellites due to it. Particles in accelerators get heavier. And many other proofs exist. However, no theory is perfect, and relativity formulas may need some small amendments in future, but that does not mean that they are wrong, since it can predict most of what happens in a given situation.
Tesla, in the contrary, was a highly practical inventor and a successful businessman, making his experiments, and trying to figure out theory for it, sometimes not very exactly, but still good enough to change the world. He even predicted smart phones, when thinking on applications of radio: he wrote “small devices fit in the pocket and provide world wide communication” or something like that.
