Histrionic Personality Disorder is basically common femininity in the extremes, as this unwitting feminist corroborates with her remarks, reproduced below. We were discussing my insane histrionic ex and I had just given an overview of the symptoms. There’s not an analogue to this state of affairs among males. We’re not all symptomatic of NPD, ASPD, or any other personality disorder to nearly the same extent, to the point where common traits/behavior among us resemble the symptoms of a personality disorder. A nice window into female psychology, courtesy of the enemy.

To anyone who has dealt with a histrionic, how effing hilarious is it that feminists try to say the diagnosis is a reflection of prejudice against women rather than a legitimate categorization of various pathological traits? Speaks to two things: 1. How partisan feminists are and 2. The fact that they know women are like this, just as the feminist I was talking to did.

Didn’t realize that was a thing

    Wikipedia

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking emotions, usually beginning in early adulthood, including inappropriately seductive behavior and an excessive need for approval. Histrionic people are lively, dramatic, vivacious, enthusiastic, and flirtatious. HPD affects four times as many women as men.[1] It has a prevalence of 2–3% in the general population and 10–15% in inpatient and outpatient mental health institutions.[2]

HPD lies in the dramatic cluster of personality disorders.[3] People with HPD have a high need for attention, make loud and inappropriate appearances, exaggerate their behaviors and emotions, and crave stimulation.[3] They may exhibit sexually provocative behavior, express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and can be easily influenced by others. Associated features include egocentrism, self-indulgence, continuous longing for appreciation, and persistent manipulative behavior to achieve their own needs.

So,,,,it’s not just in our heads that so many women seem to be like this.
A disturbing aspect is that 10 – 15% of people in Mental Health Institutions are there because of this disorder.
If you consider the number of disorders and conditions,,,,this is alarming.
The most disturbing thing is wondering how many are living undiagnosed in a domestic situation.

Histrionics and borderline personality disorders are closely related.

It’s science speak for a man who is royally f~~~ed married to one of these.

Ironically I presume more spouses are on medications thinking they are insane just by association. Really crazies never think of themselves as crazy.

Added the link as I didn’t see it supplied. Anyway, just a quick quote:

Histrionic personality disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of attention seeking behavior and extreme emotionality. Someone with histrionic personality disorder wants to be the center of attention in any group of people, and feel uncomfortable when they are not. While often lively, interesting and sometimes dramatic, they have difficulty when people aren’t focused exclusively on them. People with this disorder may be perceived as being shallow, and may engage in sexually seductive or provocative behavior to draw attention to themselves.

    Isn’t narcissism related?

Reminds me of this one chick I knew, cute little blonde attention whore who if you could sit through her lectures of rape and still be turned on would actually f~~~ you! Yes she was always on the go too, loved travelling,f~~~ing a guy in at least every country, fast bikes, slutty clothes, not many girl friends but a whack of guy friends (with benefits) of course. I personally never could get turned on after hearing her recount stories of rape and abuse from the news but that didn’t affect many other guys from what I heard. She was one messed up unit.

I would meet women who were “lively, dramatic, vivacious, enthusiastic, and flirtatious,” and they were good looking women too. I’d wonder how come it was so easy to get dates with them. I found out, to my cost, that they were as crazy as a rat in a can. They just hid the nuttiness long enough to hook me and reel me in.

Looking back on it, I realize they fit the HPD profile.

At least I got laid. It wasn’t worth it in the long run, but those were my blue pill horny days.

ALL women are insane …. only the degree varies.

Just like men are always in the s~~~ … only the depth varies.

The simple fact is ….. we’re back to our box of hand grenades again.

    Just not worth the effort.
