So a video has been floating around about a freshman high school female striking another male student in the face several times and bringing him to the ground. She punched him, then kneed him in the face twice, leaving him barely conscious. The fight was over something the boy said on Facebook. The school did not punish the girl and from what I have read, no charges will be filed. The principal of said school was quoted as saying, “This should be a lesson to students not to post mean things on Facebook”. The school asked Facebook to take down the video, but Facebook denied, saying it didn’t break any rules. So, what if we turned the tables here and a male struck a female in the face with his knee twice. What repercussions would he and all other males around the country face? Would Facebook take the video down?

I was thinking three possible lawsuits.

The family of the girl. The school where it happened. Remember that the girl was not a member of the school where the attack happened and the boy was. So, the school is libel for allowing the girl on campus. And the city for refusing to file charges.
