I am trying to get out but I am with someone that is a genius when it comes to technology, we rely on the internet and cell phones so much to find the answers to our questions and the “There it is” to our “Where is it” that without these it is truly nightmare to find a place to live etc. I find myself without the correct passwords to my online accounts and worse. She has made it impossible for me to leave and I don’t know how to get help. I fear her and anyone that has been through her punishments would as well. She has taken everything including my credibility. I try all the time to find a place to live and the results are always way to expensive or there are only women looking for roommates. In a city of 400k you would think you would find something. Not if she has been anywhere near the computer. When I do find something I never get called back, actually I do not get called back for anything. Cyberbullying, identity fraud call it what you will. Right now it is my Prison. Doomed!

Do it the old fashion way! Get a newspaper or make phone calls. Also, go to the library and use the computers there. Get a new email address that she doesn’t know about.

    Make it happen!

get a new free yahoo email address
get a burner phone at Walmart
get a new computer at Walmart
apply for a credit card at Walmart

getting yourself free will cost some money.

    Not that hard.

Welcome. You are not doomed. Look at the advice already offered to you.

The first step is to swallow TRP. I looks like it might be stuck in your throat. Grab some water, take a sip.

    Someone’s always here to listen.

Even if you aren’t tech savvy and she is all is not lost. You didn’t give any specifics.

Are your finances intermingled in a joint account?
Is it dating or a marriage?
Is the city of 400k the only place that your current career is viable?

Without knowing some details your first post looks like a man scared of an evil mastermind who keeps him trapped.

If you really want out, and you a deadly committed then choose a compass direction and start walking. When you come to the next town on that road start over.

Men got on tall ships and sailed around the World when maps showed dragons in the unknown and conventional wisdom told them there was an edge.

Your captivity is a cage that she may have a key, but you have the other copy.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

I am in over my head and yes an intro would have been nice from me. I honestly didn’t expect responses the same day. I am suppose to start at intro then and tell my story and then have some advice straight up. I apologize I did it incorrectly, I will go to intro and tell my whole messed up story.
