First off I want to mention that one of my labor of loves is fixing tech machines like PC computers which I’ve been doing since 2004. I mean when you are low on money and need a fix, you need to learn repair skills.

Anyway, not only do I want to learn more about fixing and building computers, but I’m also taking interest in fixing broken or dead arcade games and pinball machines. If the problem is just a power supply box or even the monitor, and having to just do a full replacement, it looks like an easy fix. If it’s wiring up the control panel, JAMMA game board, or coin door, then I might have a problem.

If only I had enough money and a little more skill, I would open up my own repair shop for games and tech devices.

This kind of skill is learned from experience too. Why not go into business doing it right away? You cam even offer a guarantee like “if I can’t fix it its’ free! ” or something like that…. so they don’t pay unless you do it right. In the process, you learn too!

You’re always gonna learn on the job.
May as well get paid for your education.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Those machines are historical. You are a godsend to them.

I’m restoring an older home. The materials are nothing. I’m learning new skills and getting it done for way less than paying some piece of s~~~ contractor to bring random crack and meth head alcoholics into my lair.
