Just asking a question because there doesn’t seem to be much out there about this.

I’ve read and heard here and there about The Teamster’s Union president in Puerto Rico was not letting drivers deliver aid from the ports to the people in need because they were using the disaster issue as “leverage” in some contract negotiation.
I also heard it was used to make Trump look bad.

I know there’s always a lot of BS thrown around when stuff like this comes up but I’m going to be pretty p~~~ed if the stories are true.

I’m a union member, but I rarely agree with their policy positions.
Has anyone looked into this? Thoughts?

People that work for free are slaves! No matter the weather conditions! F~~~ pitching in and helping in a dire situation, I’ve lived in that scenario for decades while the government pension receivers raped, looted, and robbed the people f~~~ing BLIND!

I live in a man made disaster area that’s degraded into lower than 3rd world conditions!

Let the motherf~~~ers dig themselves out for all I care! I’ll step over the rotting corpses rather than make any attempt to clean them up!

I owe them F~~~ING NOTHING! ZERO! ZILCH! NONE! NEIN!

Save yourself and F~~~ EVERYONE ELSE IS THE LAW OF THE LAND!

Of course they’re trying to make Trump look bad. How else could the mayor stand there in front of untouched palettes of supplies and bitch about there not being enough supplies?

It looks like the mayor and the union has it in for the governor and Trump.
I also saw that there’s supposedly another trucking union that wasn’t cooperating and the Teamsters actually were helping; not sure on that, though. I think right now, there’s just a lot of political BS getting thrown around to cover tracks.

Asked a Teamster about this who is pretty well informed.

The issue brought up by the union appears to be more logistical- that there are not enough undamaged trucks to drive. He said he will get back to me with details.

Is everything a conspiracy against Trump and the GOP ?

    @frank
I don’t know how any of it could be a conspiracy, just read about people there making public statements.
I’ve actually given up on figuring that mess out.
I will let PR deal with their own internal problems.
I think they’ve gotten most of their aid to the places it’s needed, now.

Any evidence found that the teamsters are blocking help for Puerto Rico?

Maybe you didn’t realize this, but I did google before posting and found nothing on it. It was shown to be false, or so it is claimed:

If you have evidence otherwise, please post it, otherwise it is speculation on your part.

LOL. That’s funny that you used Snopes as your “fact checker”.
Look, kid. If you have an issue with something, do your own research and jump to your own conclusions.
I could care less what you think.
