A while ago I thought about starting a thread on this song all by itself.

It was a major mistake for the womanhood of the world to put that s~~~ out there. Because men that can afford “cars” can also afford to finance women’s luxury lives. And since we men were told that women are not impressed with what we have to offer, then why pay for one of them?
Why marry one of them if you can’t impress her and make her see that you are worth it?

Country music is a bane on society. Remember the uproar when Randy Travis came out with that stalking song “What’ll You Do About Me”, about a guy who fell head over heels for a girl who used him as a one night stand and kept stalking her? I’m trying to wrap my head around @KM’s 1 year before relationship rule. I get it to an extent, but I guess I don’t know if it really works like that for me. It’s hard to say since it’s been maybe 5 years since the last time I had something resembling a relationship, and that last 6 months. It ended because she started talking about love and wanting our kids to meet and I didn’t want to go there.

I’ve never been that interested in dating more then 1 at a time, so I don’t really care much about exclusivity. These days, I can’t imagine a relationship means I have go and do crap that I don’t want to do. It may be expected of me, but I don’t imagine I’ll do it.

I’m just not sure I care about the label, call it whatever you want. In my younger days, it mattered to me, because I thought it meant I could count on them in certain situations. I have no such illusions any more. So if it’s been 2 months and she wants to call it a relationship, I don’t really care.
