So, I’m sitting at the bar at my favorite pub and two guys at different parts of the bar are talking about their ex-wives. One describes how a couple of people showed up at his work and started some s~~~ with him over something about his ex to be. He kicks their asses and they call the police. He’s the one who got to go to jail. The other one tells his story. His ex soaks him in the first 30 days of the divorce proceedings for $10,000 for emergency relief. Of course, he had to pay it. She re-married 40 days after the divorce was final. After listening to his story I learn that he’s re-married. A little while later another gentleman sitting on my right starts complaining that all his exes keep texting him at once. He has three. So, where does this 50% number keep coming from? Every guy I’ve met has at least one ex wife. And they keep re-marrying. Thank God I know better. It just gets depressing sometimes to listen to these fools and they keep making the same mistakes over and over. It’s not as if they don’t have the experience under their belts. American society is truly blind.

I’m starting to think that some guys remarry to try and offset the expenses of child support/alimony they are paying. They never fathom that it could/will fail a 2nd time. smh
I did it twice. Hopefully, I’ve learned my lesson and will never let the little head to the thinking ever again!

The 50% of marriages that don’t end in divorce include men who have been divorced already, so in fact the number is way higher. I’d like to know the number of FIRST marriages that end in divorce. I suspect about 90%.
Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.

The further I go down this rabbit hole the more I lean toward this, we are being lied to by the government about the 50 % myth. If the number was reported as 55% it would have such a profound psychological impact that fewer men would marry. I too suspect over the lifetime of an individual 90% divorce.
See so many couples divorce later in life, are thes counted in the stats? And those that stayed married, how many are happy marrriages.
If there is any dude reading this website about to get married stop! Read the post from the guys above, explore this website, and open your eyes. Look at your friends, neighbors, talk to other men. How many have been divorced, I guarantee you it’s not 50%.
"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."
If the divorce rate was on par with your cars thermodynamic efficiency, you would need likely less than half as much fuel.
