For awhile I’ve been thinking about starting a small T-shirt business that deals with politically incorrect content. Basically shirts with a big “f~~~ you” message to “SJW’s” and the like, MGTOW related shirts, etc. Lampooning pop culture is another type of content I’m interested in as well. Kind of like T-Shirt Hell. I already have a couple solid ideas that deal with the whole Brony thing for instance. Just using humor to add a little stress to the daily lives of the world’s morons.

Given the shirts will not be purely text but also have graphics, such as the brand mascot and other characters, I will need to hire an artist to do that sort of stuff. However, I want to have full copyright ownership of the designs after I’ve paid the commission for them. Under very rare circumstances I’d consider collaborating with someone, but I’m extremely hesitant to do so since I’ve already been royally f~~~ed over in the past where business ventures are concerned and don’t want to have that experience again. Ever.

I was just curious if any of the members on here do digital artwork and might have some advice for what I’ve proposed above, as well as anyone else that wants to chime in.

There are a lot of sites with artists who provide this kind of service.
Are you familiar with fiverr.com ?
I’ve tried it myself and I was very pleased with the result.
Often you get full rights to the designs after payment and you can also message these artists directly so you know if they are willing to do “controversial” stuff. But I bet they will!

Thanks man I’ll check them out!

I’m looking more at cartoon characters/caricatures so the level of detail will vary.

Still working on finding the perfect font for the logo, too many to choose from.

The possibilities are endless. That’s why I like shirts that are clever and have an anti-PC message. You don’t have to say a word, just walk on by and you’ll p~~~ people off with no real effort.

My favorite shirt that I own is the one of Charlie Brown kicking Lucy’s decapitated head just like the football she always pulled out of his way at the last second, and it’s sailing through the air. Charlie Brown has a huge smile on his face. It’s comedy gold.

If anybody represents the absolute c~~~iness of the modern woman it’s Lucy van Pelt.

I’ve been thinking about this too, creating items with subtle signposts to MGTOW. Like bread crumbs for men to follow. S~~~, that thought just opened up a whole new meaning to Hansel and Gretel! The witch is the definition of everything that modern day women are (have always been).

I think it would be really cool to spark up a smoke from a lighter with the understated but eye catching MGTOW sign, or a quality shirt/T-Shirt with a little logo, or just the inside label so that only the owner knows it’s there – ghosting merchandise – very sweet.

Good luck with your idea COA

Thanks Slingshot, I appreciate it. I just have an extremely overactive imagination and a morbid/cynical sense of humor. I’ve already got ideas for shirts spoofing rape culture, privilege, the patriarchy and all that good stuff.
