Best friend’s son got married a couple of months ago. At the reception (I went stag) gave him the “envelope” with a couple of c-notes in a “With Deepest Sympathy…” card. Anyone ever do this? Was a MGTOW statement without my even realizing it at the time.

Because they believe in NAWALT and do not know how to be happy on their own. I also think that when men get married quickly after divorce it is because they have become so institutionalised they cannot cope outside of marriage.

The problem with marriage is it is a slow inevitable journey to being absolutely sick of the sight of each other.

It’s pure madness.
I cannot even conceive a marriage that is different from that:
Both spouses are under 30.
Both spouses have never been married.
Both spouses have no children.
Both spouses wish to have children together.
I can understand such kind of marriage, it’s meant to have children, a classic family – most times it doesn’t work, due society has changed since the era of our grandparents and parents, it’s very dangerous for a man, due actual laws and courts attitudes, but at least the idea makes sense
marrying again after a divorce, or marrying a woman who already have children, or marrying after 35, makes no sense, not at all, no way
