First of all, I’m not a professional. I work in fast food. I know many of you are prefessionals here. Anyway. T~~~ took over the restaurant about 8 months ago. Never bothered to learn herself the procedures. So all day long she f~~~s up. And f~~~s me up in the process. Like every minute. Stupid s~~~. Like I’ll grab for the tongs we use for burgers and they aren’t there. I’ll go to freezers for stuff and they aren’t restocked. It’s this all day and 20 other different things. I know it’s mundane but the point is it makes me have to pick up her slack and other peoples slack – because if she doesn’t know WTF she is doing she isn’t correcting other people: standards have dropped right down. So I’m now a skivvy. Literally I’m skidding along the floor most of the time. It’s stresseful. The job is starting to bring me down mentally, and physically also. I started kickboxing last year. So I’m always f~~~ed from work. Then I’m training f~~~ed. Force of will. Then I’m f~~~ed from training. F~~~ed.
Basically she’s a fat, stupid, lazy cow. She is also ditzy as f~~~. Always in the way when you are in a hurry. Another thing she does is, she can’t stock order for s~~~. We are always running out of things, and we’ve lost customers from it. I care (about all this) because it’s my job, you know? And we’re in administration. We are about borederline for profit, a bit short or a bit up each day. I live in the North East of England. Jobs and the economy aren’t good in the area. Former industrial area. Concil estates. On my own part I’m not exactly very employable probably. Industrial nature. Good grafter but I’m f~~~ed when it comes to all this gynocentric smiley, happy, fake personality stuff. Serious man. Most work round here is working on a till or at a call centre. I can’t do that. So I need this job. Have plans. Saving for a very modest flat. Then it’s investments and early retirement.
She’s also bent as f~~~. I have caught her alternating clock ins, clocking people out early. She blagged it and said she was just fiddling her labour. Her bosses get onto management about labour. It’s targets and cost percentages stuff.
The stupid bitch has f~~~ed up my holidays. She kept fogetting to put it through then passing on blame to a shift manager. Not prefessional. She is accountable. Who is the f~~~ing store manager? Cost me £150 because it’s based off of 12 weeks previous work hours average. Been waiting 8 months for a holiday. Can’t even take time off unless it’s unpaid. Long story. Won’t go into that. So I’m stuck there, with her, fixing her f~~~ ups, and stressed all of the time. A bit like endentured servitude.
She’s obnoxious. Abrupt. Talks to people like they are s~~~. I remember when she started, she would shout hurry hurry hurry. I’m hurrying, you fat, lazy, stupid bitch.
To top this all off. She brought in and hired her obnoxious, worm of a friend of her and her family. They are sort of family but not. He is one of those ‘sassy’ camp types. Goes on like he’s a really, really hot chick who is a complete bitch. Total attitude problem. Says s~~~ under his breath a lot but the swine is so obnoxious he just says it out loud obliviously. Stuff about customers. Total snake. Talks about everyone, then will go and tell everyone else. By rights he shouldn’t even be in the job. Has walked out twice. Called in sick and screwed people over at very short notice. He is also completely crap. The same with her, and procedures. Does everything wrong. We use this thing called a broiler – where the meat is cooked. I came in for a late shift (normally do opens). He had wrecked 6 pans of meat (72 pieces). ‘There’s a problem with the broiler. It’s acting up. Not cooking peroperly’. Was nothing wrong with it. He just makes the meat ride over each other every time he uses it because he’s a retard. Told him all of this months ago by the way. Nicely. I use to tell people things, correct them ‘I’m just telling you, I’m not telling you off you know? I’m not having a go at you’. Got attitude back each time so stopped.
Anyway. He is getting promoted to shift manager. She brought in another friend too…who is getting manager. Nothing against the lass personally but she is stupid too. She has f~~~ed us up all week. Works the front and grabs the wrong burgers. We mark burgers very clearly, say somone says no pickles for example, and it’s hard to f~~~ up but people manage to. She has done that all week and bottlenecked us a few times. Can’t hit buzzers. Stands next to stuff beeping, and walks away from them. Actually most people do that. It’s very annoying.
Don’t think I can stand this much longer. People – customers, staff have complained against her too. She’s had several complaints against her. Area manager isn’t f~~~ed. Theory from the shift managers is it’s because it will reflect bad on him if she’s let go because it’s the first one he’s hired. My theory is she must be sucking his dick. Half joking, half serious when I say that. One shift manager complained against her. They fired the shift manager on something mundane. I said she’s a stupid bitch. She’s pretty smart in the Machiavellian sense I guess. I could go against her but they will just get me. On taking a cheeseburger and not paying or something like that. They’ll find a way to get you.
Yeah. I really don’t think I can stand this much longer. Don’t want to be that dick head on the doal, don’t think I’m going to last much where else in a job past a couple of days. Going to look and go through the motions but not feeling very good about this.
