So, I was wondering is going to college worth it anymore? I can’t decide if I want to go back and change my major or not. I’m definitely not going to go right now because I’m already $61,000 in debt from my computer science degree.

As some of you may know, I do want to get a job to where I’m living in a rural/farm land area, but I’m pretty sure that’ll be highly costly and not worth the risk which is why I’m just going to settle in the city.

The main fields I’m looking into are:

    Biology

    Physics

    Aerospace Engineering

    Medical field

Are any of you in college right now and is it worth it to go back to college if you want to change your field? I’ve been contemplating about going into the medical field as some sort of doctor, however, I don’t want to be falsely accused of sexual harassment if I ever had to perform certain examinations.

Keep in mind, this won’t be for at least another 5 years if I do decide to go back as I want to pay off the loans I already have and buy a house first.

But, for those of you MGTOW who are in college right now, how do you deal with the social justice warrior bulls~~~?

I am sorry to learn you can’t turn your computer science degree into a job. Is the industry in a slump these days?

To answer your question, I would say no — unless your degree is aimed at a profession that is in high demand. Keep your eye on the employment statistics, and pick your major from the top of the list when the time comes.

    @roydal

Oh, I can once I get more job experience, the only thing is sometimes I get so p~~~ed at how the current field works.

Plus, I’m not entirely sure if I want to stay in my field. I’m still very undecided on what I want go into to. I only picked the IT field because it was one of the highest paying jobs.

I am sorry but I cannot help you much because you need to maybe tell us why you do not want to do computer science anymore which is a male dominated field I might add. If you wish to know what sort of bachelor’s degree you wish to do or even any education in general, I suggest that you can maybe pay the 6 dollars something for a book on a kindle called “worthless” (link) that explains what educational paths are worthless and which educational paths aren’t. I read the book myself. But if you decide not to read the book, there was this one guy on youtube that said that only majors worth going into are engineering, nursing or accounting. Since you do not want to deal with girls that much, I suggest that you should just be an engineer of some sort. But if you manage to finish your computer science degree, it is a STEM(science, technology, engineering, math) degree so I am sure you will make a good income and then be able to afford to have expensive hobbies outside work.

Please, allow me to answer this topic.

I’m a microbiology student and I do love my career (I’m planning to specialize in medical microbiology). But you are asking… Is going to college worth it?

I’m gonna say yes, why is that? Because if you truly want to achieve your goals then you don’t need to care for what others think about you.

How to deal with feminist/sjw? Simple, ignore them and stay out of their path. I mean, you are a man going his own way right? Then you don’t have to pay attention to them and if for some reason your paths collide, just look for another route. There is always an option, remember that, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

It may not appear in the moment… But you know what? You can always build your choices and options, no need to wait for them to pop.

I am in a similar boat. I would advise Income Based Repayment (IBR) so that if you do not find work, the debt will be nuked after 25 years. I took that during the year I took off; the loans came due after the 6mo grace period and I was put on IBR after submitting paperwork to Great Lakes, the student loan servicer.

If you are living skint as I was, housing is one’s biggest expense. Nuke that too and look in to living in a van or a truck; it certainly made my money go further. Now, I live like a king, granted one with a 35 ft^2 palace, but still it is mine for I own it outright. It is not rented, no bank holds it as collateral: it is mine as all things one owns should be his.

So, I was wondering is going to college worth it anymore? I can’t decide if I want to go back and change my major or not. I’m definitely not going to go right now because I’m already $61,000 in debt from my computer science degree.

Thanks for the advice guys. I may or may not stay in IT, but I know the dangers of us going to colleges. It’s an SJW s~~~hole most of the time.

A plain biology degree is worthless. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.

    $61k in debt?

Look into a job that is covered by the government tution reimbursement program.

Get some comp sci in the military. And they’ll pay off your tuition.
