In honor of Stealthy and his love for fine homecooked dining, dutch oven, and home made spiced rum.

This night’s for you Stealthy sorry you had to erase yourself from international existence! We know your dash for the treeline was necessary!

Here I have fried zucchini on one side and a bowl of sliced onions, mushrooms, one whole minced fresh garlic, cooked in extra virgin olive oil, the doors were open and the aroma went for miles! It was garlic breath-taking close up, the smell of good cooking!

I have the burner thermostat set a little under 400f. over 400f. and things like to burn.

Zucchini out, steak in, keep the onions, mushrooms, and minced garlic wet looking with a splash of oil now and then, dry burns to a crisp and replaces flavor with ashes. Don’t over do it, use sparingly with an oil bottle dispenser.

On thick cuts of meat I like to use a thermometer and quit cooking as soon as I can, the outside is medium/well and the inside is a soft as it can safely be without under cooking. Anything over and inch should be cooked in a oven.

Another MAN-GRILLE dinner in MG-Tower’s garage, I recommend a good Merlot, but for me dark Grape Juice does the trick on cleaning the pallet for another delicious bite.

Here’s to you Stealthy! Good Eatins’!

If you’re not in love with garlic, don’t mince it and use half a clove diced, I think I’m getting another garlic rush! Tonight I’ll feel it in my skin! That s~~~ does wonders!

This is a “real” happy-meal! Not that McDonald’s processed stuff!

you put me on a teriyaki spree a week or two ago…
i put it in a sauce pot,
add a couple cloves fresh minced garlic,
    and some fresh ginger root…grated..
    maybe a little orange juice..
reduce and add some chicken or steak.
    dynamite !
    .
i stuck w stealthy’s advice for 3 eggs per day to boost testosterone,
and have PERFECT cholesterol and liver enzymes after almost 2 years..
    no soy at all anymore,
    feelin great !
    .

Thank you Tower, quite impressive and I also use garlic whenever possible.

Love the pics as well. Wish that Stealthy and I could have crossed virtual paths, he sounds like he is a hell of a standup guy.

Had grilled chicken fajitas on my end of the world tonight.

Grilled chicken, bell peppers(red, yellow and green), onion, fresh corn bubblers, garlic, guacamole, pineapple salsa and cheese.
Corn tortillas lightly grilled as well.

The lava still hasn’t cooled for some and is still unsafe to walk on, everyone needs time to cool off and solidify before their humanity and compassion returns to them. I’ve been there but only yesterday, today I’m healed and growing again, tomorrow I’ll be relaxing in the shade and comfort of maturity…

Does this mean we’re not cellar dwellers where our cooking skills end at eating milk and Twinkies?

I may have regressed. I still like to put both those in a blender…

I can see a Twinkle, but how do you fit a cellar dweller without a wood chipper?

I mean the milk and twinkies (the yellow – will survive the Apocalypse ones). Not the celler dweller. Besides the wood chipper is in a barn a couple hour drive away from me. 😀

    Well done!

One of the few non-surprises to me during the short time I’ve been hanging around here is how much satisfaction you men get from cooking for yourselves.

I’m with you. I grilled blackened salmon fillets and corn on the cob yesterday for me and 3 of my sons. That was a great day.

There is a spiritual sympathy that occurs between males when they sit together and eat meat that’s been cooked over a fire. It is primal & life-and-manhood affirming, and is something that cannot be replicated even remotely with a woman.

Superb grill, just everything. And yes, Stealthy’s was the first post I ever read on this site. Along with everyone else, I also miss his wisdom and uniquely interesting view. Thanks.

That looks awesome! Amazing how well men can cook, I guess women tried to use this domain as only their’s to feel they contribute more then they do. Now that the sheets are off I still haven’t met a women who can cook better than I can. That steak looks great.

Never lose sight of what brought you here.
