OK. Read the essay, took three tries, but I did it. However, I could not read more than the first comment. Now she is truly strong because she recognized her mistake and is doing something about it.
Isn’t that what her husband did when the house was bought, when her first son was born, her second son, when she DIVORCED raped her husband, when he put his life and career back together, when he found a new woman.

I was eager to prove that women could do anything.

Prove to who? men? What happened to “I” could do anything? More hive mentality.

I always blamed someone else. It was never my fault for the bad decisions I made. Typically, it was the fault of men – my father, my boyfriends, my husband, my boss, my sons. Never, ever was it something that I had done.

I read the article and I find a couple of things hard to believe. I wouldn’t doubt 99% of single 40+ divorced moms have these thoughts in their heads. But she did not apologize to her husband. It came off as excuse me I was a bitch and I still don’t blame myself. It was TV, my girlfriends, feminism, etc. The other thing that bothers me is the way it was written. Even if she is for real, she realized AFTER the fact. She was pretty much forced to. Men were no longer getting in line to kiss her ass and do s~~~ for her. Having read the whole essay, my guy feel says it was written by a man. The main reason for this is I don’t believe a woman would be this honest and describe herself as a princess.

However, this essay could have been written by my ex-wife as it pretty much describes out entire marriage, even the ages of the children when she decided she wanted to ride the c~~~ carousel again were spot on.

I also know a woman who divorced at 38 and admitted she was looking for someone younger and naughty. She is now 42, had the haircut, looks very mumsie and is very p~~~ed off that she is still single aside from occasional pump and dumps.

The 70% of women who file for divorce really do believe they will easily find a high status, wealthy, good looking man as they had their pick when they were younger. It takes a while to realise these guys are f~~~ing 25 year olds and all that is left is the men who were divorced and are just after sex.

For women, everything eventually boils down to Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks.
