Stupid Relations~~~ Story

Here’s a typical BS thing that my ex would do. One day I come home with two new shirts. My daughters want to see me in them, so I go change. The ex comes in to see. I put on the first shirt and she says “That shirt looks nice on you.” OK. I put on the second shirt. “You look like s~~~ in that shirt.” Now, aside from the fact that saying you look like s~~~ isn’t very diplomatic, I say to her “Funny you would complement the shirt when it looks good, but criticize my looks when it doesn’t.”

Her response: “Oh whatever. It’s the same thing.”
Me: “No, it’s not the same thing. But very telling how you would word it, and then not even apologize when it is pointed out. Instead of saying “Wow, I didn’t realize I did that. I’M SORRY.” You tell me whatever.”

Of course, at the end of the discussion I was an asshole and an idiot. Then she retreated to the phone for a couple of hours to call the hive and report what an asshole and idiot is was. It did buy me a couple of hours of silence though!!

Young guys, this is a small snapshot of what marriage looks like from the inside. I highly recommend it to absolutely no one.

Imagine it the other way. Those pants really make your fat ass look less fat. Your fat ass looks even fatter in those pants. Same thing, you know what I meant.
