I am currently in the same boat. I have not bought anything from the NFL in three years.

I used to go to games, wear the cloths, even had a debate about the talent of Tomlinson, with a few NFL analysts in the past on their site, when he was being traded to the Jets. I would keep up with every player, their stats and be very active in the chat on the NFL site. However, it has all become something horrendous, and it started a long time ago. It is just too far gone for me.

I cannot support a national sport that does not support its nation. As such, I have not followed anything about the NFL in two years, and started my detachment three years ago.

I never really watch sports to begin with, except Monster Jam and CrossFit. So I don’t care about the damn NFL, the NBA, the MLB, NHL, PGA and all those others. The only thing I supported from the NFL and the NBA are the jerseys, because they look and feel good on me; otherwise, I care nothing about it.

I really resented the NFL when that Kapernick guy made a political stand during the National Anthem and other players doing the same thing. Plus the players doing that are hypocrites. They say that America is a terrible country for blacks, yet, these players are black making millions of dollars playing pro ball. It’s just hating America for the sake of hating it.

I say let the NFL destroy itself over Kapernick. One side is upset that he made that kneeling and the other side is upset that he’s not playing. Two sides boycotting over the same guy for different reasons. It’s hard to believe that anyone is so invested in Kapernick, considering what a crappy player I hear he is.

The NFL is catering to women! WOMEN are over 50% of the fan base now a days, so It’s all about the money. I thought the players wearing pink for breast cancer awareness was cool, but then found ot what it was really about — to appease women! Now everyone (players) are making political statements on field showing their “beliefs” I DON’T CARE !!!! When I pay $100/ticket and $5 for a hotdog, $8 for beer I am supporting this BS NOT the home-team. All these millionaire players stating their “beliefs,” is BS !
