I was married just once at age 25, and after dating many,many women. The woman I married was “different” much like your situation. My marriage lasted 12yrs. , and the last 2 were not our best years together.
TIME has a way of changing things. For me,it was her constant nagging,(which wanted me to stay away from her at all costs) For her, it was her not having that clinging ability she always had when I was around.It was her exposure to the “Hive”that brought about the downfall of our marriage/family. I NEVER took another man’s opinion concerning my marriage. The OLDER men would just stay quiet. I thought they were respecting my right of privacy, but in reality they just wanted to see me suffer,much like they did/do.

Promise this:
If this 5th marriage goes B A D, you are gonna get hit emotionally like a piano coming off of the 35th floor. Come here for solace, and seek professional help for the emotional tsunami thatwi ll likely come toward you.

Going by the “statistics”, for argument sake, 50% of marriages end in divorce.

Lets break down the remaining 50% who remain married (going by my gut feel and observation):

Again, just based on my observation alone and not proven scientific data. But I would not be surprised if the above numbers are true.

Sometimes people get in the habit of “linear thinking” and believe tomorrow will be like today. Things change. Men are often blindsided by women. Men don’t see the train wreck that is in front of them. I know I was blindsided. Most of my friends were blindsided too.

From a sociology perspective, warning signs exist. I’m not sure what the success rate would be for a 5th marriage, but it might tend to be low.
And the age difference is significant. Please be careful and protect yourself.

Something needs to be cleared up here. If this story was in Iran. Irak, or some danger zone or some Muslim or Asian country? Would the story be different? I think so.

Again, this happening in the west seems like a impossibility. But if the Quakers did this? Or the Amish? It would be no big deal.
