I’m still relatively new to MGTOW, though it’s growing on me.

However, to go back to the red/blue pill analogy in the matrix, I do sometimes wish that I could have a steak again.

Obviously now I know it’s not real and is a delusion, but there were times where a good steak was pretty enjoyable…

Does anyone else ever have this? And does anyone have any advice on how to be more content with being self-sufficient?

(Generally I’m fine, just a down day)

The truth is addictive. Even when it tastes like s~~~. It kept brining me back, now I can’t imagine thinking any other way. I often marvel at values & sense of propriety (or lack of them) that some people have and just wonder how they f~~~ they function – or prefer to function that way.

Steak is eaten once and enjoyed for that moment.

Relations~~~s have repercussions that follow a man for life.
First, there are the psychological effects of having to bend your wishes to the whims of another.
Second, there is the ever-present chance of catching an incurable disease.
Third, comes the lost time and income. Had they been invested wisely, they would have grown at compound interest. Squandered on a relatons~~~, leaves a man with nothing — neither cash in the bank, nor the benefits of time spent on self improvement and recreation.

Edit:
When it comes to steak, buy top quality and cook it yourself, or get it from a quality restaurant.
When it comes to sex, lease it for an hour or two and pay her to leave.
You will come out ahead in the long run.

The good news is that, as a MGHOW, you can have all the literal steak you want, and the best cuts prepared exactly how you like with nobody to p~~~ and moan about the costs or saving the animals or your arteries hardening or any of that s~~~.

As for the metaphorical steak, you never get to have that again. Oh, you’ll feel the desire for love, companionship, emotional honesty, closeness and loyalty from a woman and you’ll remember when you chased after it and occasionally believed you’d caught it, but once you disconnect from that false reality, you can never truly accept it as being real again.

You may plug back in and even occasionally see the “woman in the red dress” as you go about the parts of your life that must be lived inside of the system, but you’ll forever recognize her and it for what they are.

And honestly, would you really want to go back? I would rather be dead than have my knowledge erased and be plugged back into my former blue-pill self’s world. And why? Because I’d end up having to take the red pill all over again and end up right back here, just with more scars than I had the first time around.

I think that Jan.Sobieki has hit the nail on the head – I can do and get whatever I want but I know now it’s not worth it in the long run!
