Let’s face it, guys: most people that actually contribute real stuff to the open source scene are men. White men, to be precise, with some Indians and Asians adding in. But the important thing is: NO. WOMEN.

Github is still popular for hosting open source projects. If you have to offer such stiff, please avoid Github. If you have a project their, move it elsewhere and delete your account. It is YOUR source that gives Github it’s business.

Github has become infested by SJW BS, and they will ruin Github like everything they touch. It was a severe mistake by Github to let these people in in. As Nietzsche said, push what is falling anyway. Move out now, let Github burn down and let it be a warning example to other tech companies.

For my projects, I would not use Github. Nor would I register there to contribute to existing projects. If I have something, either the maintainers have a working email, or I spare the effort.

SJWs don’t contribute anything useful, they are attention whores. That’s why they create drama, distract from doing real stuff and instead come up with “codes of conduct” and such. Means: Regulating speech, as usually.

Gets even worse. Traditionally, there is meritocracy at work in Free Software projects. Your status is determined by your contribution, both in terms of quality and of quantity. Quality is the necessary condition because nobody wants tons of crappy code. Sounds fair? Not for SJWs. They find it “oppressive”.

Let Github go down just like the new Ghostbuster movie. There are other platforms like Github because the underlying software (Git) is free anyway. Let them crash and burn and let it be a warning. Makes room for a no BS tech scene once again.

Somebody out there has to hand out the money for startups. If banks learn that SJW feminist BS turns into default on credits, then guess who will not get credits in the future and who consequently will not be starting up companies!

Same for existing companies – once the shareholders understand that feminist stuff threatens their shares, they will keep the companies clean.

Btw., I really wonder why Yahoo even still exists. Putting Mayer into the CEO position clearly was a mistake. Like HP already had done with Fiorina.

That’s the thing with open source projects, they start bringing women into them and they cause all kinds of problems internally – like the sexual misconduct accusations in the Tor project and squabbling in the Linux mailing lists.

It actually makes me concerned seeing them bully their way into established projects, because you know they’ll just ruin them and they do. But you can’t express it to anyone in charge, because you’ll just get attacked for it.

I hate having to migrate away from a platform, or project because of the locust swarm that brings all of these problems with it.

If you aren’t software developer, Github has no use for you to offer.

In a nutshell, there is a distributed version control system called Git. So, no central server. Think of it like filesharing with version control. Git is open source and works fine, but it has a terrible user interface. Tons of command line commands with incoherent syntax.

So some guys came up with an idea: why not hiding the user interface and let developers focus on actual development? Why should they waste their time to learn a database tool? Let’s make a nice, easy-to-use application. With a browser since everyone has that. Born was Github.

Other platforms like Github work the same way, but Github is the most popular because it has the most users (developers). To be clear, the users, and that means by and large white men, are the only thing Github has that competing platforms do not have yet. To rant against white men is a particularly stupid idea in that situation.
