1. 22 years is insane and unethical punishment for a crime where no one was injured. The age of consent is a religious meme turned law. Nature already has a line drawn for the age of consent; its called puberty. A corrected, legal age of consent accounting for the biological differences between men and women would be Women: 17 and Men: 15. Because men are physically superior, die younger and do the penetrating, their access to sex should begin sooner. Women are naturally submissive, live longer and risk damage during sex so waiting a few years after puberty is warranted. 2. 8th graders have already hit puberty. Though is weird and frowned upon; sober, consensual sex with a post-pubescent young adult is a victim-less crime. Teachers are in a position of authority over minors. At least when they’re of age there is more agency, but even then it is highly unprofessional and should lead to professors losing their job in the college ranks.

Why is it feminists can make these arguments when it’s a male teacher, but suddenly when it’s a female teacher there is only screeching how the woman is a victim?

Why? At most jobs you can get fired for having workplace relationships. Being a professor, having sex with a student is similar to a high rank military officer having sex with a lower ranked enlisted solider, a doctor with their patients, a police officer with citizens he’s making house calls for, etc.

Position of authority+work place+age difference, it’s all highly unprofessional and questionable.

It’s always going to be improper and have an element of force in it, since the parties are not in equal standing.
