same as that s~~~ film in December…only got 20 secs into it and watching her beat up numerous stormtroopers made me give up

the problem with this is it directly links into the original trilogy so will spoil them rather than be separate crap films. Avoiding like the plague

I haven’t even gotten around to seeing the prequel trilogy yet. Not that I’m missing anything.

Ep 7 makes the prequels look like classic films and this will add to that feeling

I’m hearing theories on the internet lately that say Rey is the reincarnation of Anakin. I didn’t think they could make Anakin more of a pussy mangina, but if this theory is true, they will have succeeded.

The Femtards and Manginas have already overtaken the IMDB board of this Celluloid abortion.

I’m so glad I was never a huge Star Wars fan.

So, Star Wars has been cucked to push a narrative. All these rebel women. Are we never going to see a lead male (white) Jedi or rebel again? God damn.

Really sad to see this happen to a once beloved franchise. This and Ghostbusters. Trigger me timbers.

And yet in the comments of the trailer, I see people complaining that it’s a white woman instead of a woman of color.

You can never. Please. These. People.

This trailer is a piece of s~~~! I hate western movies now a days because of the political agendas they push on viewers just to make a few quick bucks pandering to interest groups.

Movies still are a form of art in other countries, but western movies just aren’t anymore. You’ll never see original or even creative content anymore such as the original Star Wars films. You’ll just end up seeing more films filled with SJW bulls~~~!

This is why I stopped going to the movies completely. Modern western movies at least, always end up having some sort of social justice warrior agenda attached to them.

That trailer was enough to convince me to never see it.

Disney has a long history of restricting their older catalog of movies. You may never get a chance to buy or stream the original movies.

Watching a size 0 woman kill 13,000 trained males single-handed is getting more than old anymore. They’re pumping out “Star Wars” movies these days like the US Federal Reserve expands credit.

If you’re talking about the original star wars movies, Disney is actually making it as easy as possible to stream their movies.

Although I know what you mean and feel like there is some sort of trick involved with this I just haven’t noticed yet.

    Ok. Then do it.

Awesome, I’m happy to be wrong here. They used to play that game with their classics though.

I have them on DVD. I’ve got the editions where they had the three originals along with Lucas’ improved version. I think I like the improved versions of all but the original better.

The stupid way they did the episodes is confusing as hell.

The only Star Wars films that exist in my mind are the original ones. The prequels as well as the sequels such as (the c~~~s awaken) are just bastardized remakes/add ons to me.

@CP…I just noticed that Ep IV, New Hope, seems to be mysteriously missing from their catalog. Odd, since it is available for streaming elsewhere.

I had all 6 on DVD, but I recently noticed that I’m missing quite a few. I think I loaned them out and forgot about it. Haven’t decided if/how I’m going to replace them yet.

    Ok. Then do it.

I believe the Han Solo prequel will do fine. As will the rest of the sequel movies.

But, I believe Rogue One is a bridge too far. I do not care for the Rogue One premise for the same reason I do not care for the current Darth Vader comic series. I have no interest watching Darth Vader and the Empire kick the asses of a bunch of nobodies. There is no emotional attachment to these characters.

Sure, the characters are with the rebels, but that is it. They are all new characters. There is no attachment to the characters that is already established.

At least, Star Wars Rebels included Ahsoka, and thus gives the Rebels series a connection to the Clone Wars series.

If Rogue One wants to do well. It has to have some connection. And Darth Vader does not count. It has to be on the protagonist side. At least give the fans a character from the original series. Wedge would be fine as a side character. That would connect Rogue One to the Rogue Squadron part of Star Wars.

    @narwhal:

I’m missing quite a few too including nearly all of my Star Wars ones. I had a boarder who would pilfer from me who was also a Sci-Fi freak. I kicked him out a year ago and am still finding out new things like just now. I was inspired by your post to find my Star Wars DVDs, and they are no longer in my collection.

They probably got pawned. I kicked him out after I caught him smoking crack. He later returned and threatened to torch my house. I needed a hazmat suit to clean up the room.

The original was the best of them all. I saw it four times in the theater. I remember the way Lucas took his sweet time releasing them made me anticipate them coming out.

I won’t be wasting my time on SJW Wars. I read they are prepping yet another one for a 2018 release.

Anything remotely associated with Disney, has been removed from my scope of having any interest in.

It would be interesting to see a Star Wars movie that doesn’t involve the death star YET AGAIN.

Watching a size 0 woman kill 13,000 trained males single-handed is getting more than old anymore. They’re pumping out “Star Wars” movies these days like the US Federal Reserve expands credit.

I have absolutely had it with that trope!

It never sat well with me to start with. But back in the day – waay back in the day, come to that – I could at least acknowledge that it was something a bit fresher, since you didn’t tend to see female-on-male violence in action movies that often.

But it’s in virtually every action movie now. It is so old that it should be drawing a pension. It’s the same bloody pattern every time. Woman enters a room looking menacing, the guys in her vicinity snicker amongst themselves over what a girl’s doing on the force (because apparently, a man would never react any other way), and within minutes, they’re all on the floor with noses broken or worse. It is neither clever nor original nor entertaining anymore. It’s just another reminder of their vicious agenda.

Why not go for something more creative, like a Jehovah’s Witness beating someone up, or a dwarf absolutely owning a 6’2″ warrior? You know, something that would actually be totally unexpected?

I’m worried about Keymaster. ‘Cause you know what will happen next. They’ll kill off Indiana Jones and replace him with a woman. And then the sentimental value of KM’s profile picture will be ruined.
