I know Star Wars has lots of female fans. I buy that Joseph Campbell theory that it has the universal appeal of the great stories from mythology. There is something in it for everybody.

Full disclosure: I haven’t seen the new one yet. I’m not psychologically hardened to another “girls are better than boys” movie just now. I do plan to see it when the DVD comes to RedBox. That is the most money ($1.60) I’m willing to spend on Disney’s gynocentrism.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

Well, I am sure there are girls out there who are genuinely interested in starwars, however I would argue that the majority of them are just doing so to either get to the boys or to prove the point that they are equal. But I could be wrong. Anyways, I just find it funny how a feminist like her uses the movie to spread her bulls~~~ feminist messages.

This looks like more, “You only hate the movie cause the lead is a girl,” bull crap. I really wish these people would get that some of us find character development to be one of the most important parts of a story. This can go in many ways, the redemption of a character like Han Solo. There is the warrior’s journey, like that of Luke Skywalker. More recently we have been seeing the decent into villainy, like in the example of the magnificent Walter White (aka Heisenberg).

The reason we don’t like this new star wars movie is because the main character is a complete Mary Sue. There is nowhere for this character’s development to go. There is no reason to see any further movies based around this character and barely any reason to see the current story based on this character. Because there is no story.

Of course, you could say that there were plenty of good action films that had little character development, like Rambo perhaps. But Rambo was a fish of a different meat. This wasn’t a character driven story, it was a philospohically driven story. They were exploring the nature of the post-war soldier in peaceful times. This new movie has none of that. Even the Original Trilogy didn’t really argue anything philosophically. It just played in the same kinda tired good vs evil crap that has been used in cheap story telling for years. But at least they did us the justice of making a character that made mistakes, suffered, and sacrificed in the wars that he was flung into mostly by mistake of birth.

I am not a fan of the originals. They were just some decent action flicks with decent character development. It just got all the fanfare because it was something so vibrantly new at the time. This movie is a pale imitation of the original, in a time when there is wall to wall CGI in movies. Even going back to practical effects is nice, but isn’t anything new. So if this half-assed writing and same-old visuals are all Di$ney(and don’t get me started on all the other reasons I have for boycotting that company) is going to bring to the table, then I can pass.

Here is the problem that i have with all of these modern movies…

The FEMALE LEADS ARE WEAK AS F~~~!

I would be ok if the female leads actually had some real f~~~ing ability in their acting / fight scenes.

But no, it’s all just f~~~ing forced! they force male actors to be pathetic; they are ALWAYS inconsistent with their acting / abilities. It bugs the s~~~ out of me. You have male characters being all semi-not-pussy like when in the same scene as a man… but BEHOLD! Enter a woman! And that male character goes beyond being a pussy.

And now, they are just getting even worse and only using mangina actors period!

    In regards to star wars…
it’s always had feminist bulls~~~ forced into; princess leia. but, they didn’t have the male characters slow down nearly as much for her as in compared to 1,2,3 and 7.

@budtao nice analysis bro, some of the very reasons why I didn’t watch the movie.

The FEMALE LEADS ARE WEAK AS F~~~!

The society is trying to push men down to a level so that nobody will feel bad about themselves, rather than motivating people to do their best, the society is increasingly pandering to the lowest common denominator and feminists want you to be proud of your weakness.
