Watch an epic move with a live symphony playing in the background. It was unforgettable experience seeing the new remake of star trek with the score being playing below the screen by the symphony. Makes you truly realize how much impact music can have on a movie.

OOOOH, I wish I had seen that!  The 2009 Star Trek soundtrack is one of my favorites!  It’s composed by Michael Giacchino, so of course it’s good! 😛  He also did another one of my favorite soundtracks, The Incredibles!

They did the same thing at the Seattle symphony one year, only it was the original “Psycho” by Hitchc~~~. Watching the violinists play the REEE REEE REEE REEE part of the shower scene was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.  The musicians couldn’t keep a straight face while they were playing it either 🙂

Excellent!  The next concert doesn’t play here in Houston until next May, but I’m definitely going to have to check it out!
