What is freedom?

For now, its being able to be happy. Just for a little while. It never lasts long. We come back to reality very quickly.

Men who spent this National Holiday cheering on the loneliness of doing it all by themselves this year, while previously spending it with their children, families, and freinds the year before; had to come to terms with what freedom is all over again.

There is no denying that we are under the illusion of freedom. That we are limited by laws we must follow.

The trick is do you blindly follow? Or do you make your own path? Are you willing to deal with the consequences of those freedoms you sought after?

Yes, we are all under rule of another. Weather it be a wife, a state, an officer, a judge, a lawmaker, a politician, the Army the President. Our Very own fathers and mothers. Realistically, we are at the mercy of the weather around us.

It Snowed in the Sahara Desert the other day in 2016 I think.

When you really look at it. Maybe Freedom is just being happy in the moment. And how long you can make that moment last might be the trick to all of it.

Thank you ItsallBS. I think this is one perspective that others who feel alone on the holidays should think about. Kind of like celebrating Valentine’s day the day after or christmas when all the things are so cheap!

Its one way I was able to rig the system, get the kids small presents, and get the REALLY BIG AND COOL THINGS the NEXT DAY! When they still has all the holiday stuff going on!

If you ask me. Its still having that excitement of the future. Even though it is all coming quickly to an end.

On July 4th, we celebrate our liberty.
