Good day to everyone! Have you played this game? Do you see some associations with our life and this game? I mean- following our own way is a new way of stalking. And this social network connects us. It’s our bar- 100 roentgen. What do you think about this game and our life? There’s no women in this game so I love this game.
Out of the rules and system-follow your own way!
It’s a great game, one of my favourites in fact.
The parallel never really occurred to me before, but I guess it’s there. A bunch of dudes wandering the zone, trying to stay alive, and hopefully find meaning in this f~~~ed up and hostile world.
I played the game when it came out, and it has a very interesting atmosphere to it. I can say I’ve been to Pripyat, in game, of course! 🙂
"Expecting to find a decent woman on a dating site is like dumpster diving and expecting to come out with a gourmet meal." Won'tGetFooledAgain
I have it in my Steam library but I haven’t played it yet. Assuming you mean the FPS.
The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.I know the first and third one’s to be good. Apparently Clear Sky sucked.
Shadow of Chernobyl is good, a lot of depth. But it’s buggy and unpolished in it’s unmodded form.
Call Of Pripyat was really good. I just wish it had more areas. Game is pretty good out of the box.
Both games are extremely atmospheric. You really do get a sense of dread wandering around abandoned facilities in the dead of the night, wondering what horrible creature may come out and attack you – as well as the whole every man for himself thing.
Fortunately Stalker2 never materialized because they were entertaining the idea of adding female characters.
