Edit: It took me many moons to figure out that the number was tied to the “thumbs up” icon in the top bar of posts.

2nd edit: Memories come flooding back. There used to be a “thumbs down” icon too. Some troll figured out how to hack the thumbs software and drove some people into negative numbers. It was this brouhaha that called my attention to the thumbs score in the first place.

Call me a misanthrope, but I would not miss it if it vanished. I’m not in this for a score of that nature.

Well we DEFINITELY need to extend our thanks to RoyDal for his outstanding contributions – and meant most sincerely. This guy has written to us and kept a watchful eye in the best interests of everyone over the last year and together with MGTOWER, CPIG , NED, my fond distant friend CAP, ILIVEAGAIN and a others they have been a veritable MGTOW fleet of majestic musketeers helping to restore order to the galaxy. (If that’s the phrase)

And PS!!! RoyDal specifically requested not to display the complete member forums stats (under every avatar) and we honored it immediately when he brought it up…….. but yesterday, some maintenance was done and they must have turned back on again.

Just removed again now, we promised RoyDal we would make it an option as part of the next update, so you guys can choose if you want. RoyDal deserves to have this request honored and it’s actually better for everyone to make it optional. Thanks very much again.

Actually I think it’s a high priority because today the forums were very slow at times and I thinking getting everyone’s forums totals on every page load may have been part of the problem.

Oh you mean the little star instead of the number..? I’d go for that instead of the the sum of the votes any day. You know because numbers are just (virtually meaningless) numbers (just like all the “likes” on FB for girls/women should be actually). This is part of the reason I very much respect RoyDal as a seasoned mgtow anyway. Lots of valuable contributions be that displayed as some number or as a star symbol hardly matters to me.
