Was listening to Chris Hadfield the Canadian astronaut and he said when the space shuttle started in 1982 the potential catastrophic explosion rate was 1 in 9. These days it’s 1 in 38.

However divorce rate is 1 in 3

    🤣🤣🤣

So basically strapping your arse to a giant bomb, rocket, is safer.

Long term space travel sounds appealing to escape women, but they would send one there too.

Am wondering though if a person would get tired of reading off a screen as I do, maybe age and old eyes, but as long as not, should be possible without being totally bored

I think you are being more than Optimistic with 1 in 3.

I think even the conservative measures for divorce give it greater than 50%. So, we’re talking at best 1 in 2.

Also, I imagine that Space Travel is a POSITIVE Life Changing Experience for the very few that experience it. While marriage is definitely a Life Changing Experience, but it’s FAR FROM POSITIVE.

Then you are trapped with one. The only way to escape will be to kill yourself.

Exactly. Or destroy the whole craft, which just seems wasteful.

    Nope, not the only way.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Yup, riding a rocketing bomb is safer odds than marriage.

I'm going my own way. Maybe I'll see you there.

For long-term missions, send the guy up in a spacecraft with voice-activated AI and a sex bot. Problem solved.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham

By that I mean, why not shove her out the airlock
