To a Suni a Shi is a kuffar as is a Druse Muslim and an Alawite and other sects.And vise versa.

In the past Catholics and Protestants and Orthadoxs and differant Christian groups had their squabbles.But for the most part major violence between them has been minimal for a very long time.

But the Kurds were glad he was gone.He tried to exterminate them(Anfal campaign).As soon as his airforce was prevented from bombing them they built their lands and citys into centers of industry and investment.Iraqi Kurdistan has 2million refugees under Kurdish Army protection.Kurds in Syria after the Syrian Arab Army withdrew quickly set up their own government and army where women have equal responsibility to fight at the front against ISIS,AlQuieda and the other Salifist groups.Despite being cut off from the rest of the world by economic embargo.

And this is why I don’t believe a damn thing my government says. We are basically allies with Saudi Arabia and we look the other way for them, as well as Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. Yup Wahabbism comes straight outta Saudi.
The Saudis have their fingers all into Western media and a whole lot of other things.Including our politics.And we only buy a fraction of our oil from them.All the original funding for AlQuieda came from Saudi sources.Inside the kingdom AlQuieda are not tolerated but outside is another story.Salifists have been jockying for position all the way from Packistan to north Africa foe decades at least.
