I say this, because of the generation that I would be a part of. Masculine men, not shamed for it, commended, prayed for, respected. I realized that if I lived 100 years ago, that I would face a high possibility of not living long enough to see my 19th Birthday, as I most likely would have been with the young men who were sent to Gallipoli. These were young men, only just entering their prime, some of them only coming to grasp the concept of being a responsible adult. And yet, they charged right into a hail of machine gun fire, knowing that they could die, get horrific injuries, or if they were lucky enough to live through it, at least one of their mates would fall on that damned beach. Now I look at my generation, a generation of pussies, who I feel a hatred for due to their inability to stand up, their unwillingness to speak their mind, lest they be shamed. They’re pussies, and if I was given the chance to pick a new time to live in, I would live among my heroes, my great uncle who fought on the western front and died in an unmarked grave there, or my Great Grandfather and his brother, who both fought on Kakoda, My great grandfather until he was carried out with other malaria ridden soldiers, and his brother, who was sadly KIA some weeks after. I would even go as late as my Dad, who served as a peacekeeper in East Timor, or my Grandad, who served in the airforce in Afghanistan, these great men of my family, are my heroes, and there are others in my generation who would berate them. I would spit in the faces of the arrogant pricks who berate our Servicemen, but then I realised they’d probably like it.

Hey BigTl13…. Gallipoli was a fiasco and unfortunately was a big waste of men to no strategic gain. I salute your forefathers! I salute everyone’s ALLIED service forefathers.

(no offence to our Mgtow members who’s forefathers were part of the Axis…their will was not theirs and there was a huge brain programming propaganda back in those countries…the fault lies with the leaders at that time).

Every year when Remembrance Day nears, I have taken some time to chat with some of these older guys who at poppy kiosks. I have had the occasion of speaking with a couple of WW2 vets as well as a couple of Korean vets.
One WW2 vet was telling me some of his stories (he was in a European prisoner camp), his experience however made me weep in front of him… I have no shame admitting it. He noticed, smiled and put a hand on my shoulder in a fatherly way. I could only stutter a “thank you” and walked away.

My own father lied about his age and joined in 1939 and would have been shipped off the Sicily for Operation Husky had he not been injured in a training incident here in Canada. He ended up becoming a POW camp guard here. He told me a few stories…. but surely not all of them.

I wished I had lived 200 years ago… I rather be working a piece of land with some horses. Hunt and Fish with plenty of game afield!

I’ve often thought I was born in the wrong century. My lifestyle right now could easily fit the late 1800’s other than the fact that I I’m currently still on the grid. Several acquaintances of mine are off .. but, I still have the issue of a 540 foot deep water well to deal with and a submersible pump. My Amish neighbors use wind; I think I can eventually keep the pump with the right set-up. Once that is resolved I’ll probably disconnect.

I should have been a baby boomer. I would have been a child of the 50’s. Gone to vietnam. Had access to cheap schooling, much cheaper housing. Good job market until 9/11. Driven muscle cars when new, bought them as cheap used cars. Come of age sexually after the pill and before aids. Settled into a nice government gig with a pension and be done by now.

You guys take for granted how good you had it.

Every simple soldier’s sacrifice should NOT be disrespected.

I completely agree Monk Mode….which is why I made the “no offence” comment. It is unfortunate that kids indoctrinated and brainwashed into the SS did not have a chance to know anything else.

To think that many years after ww2 vets on both sides would unite and embrace each other not as former adversaries but as brothers in arms.

I say “seize the moment!”, this is manly man’s finest hour! We’re the solders that stand against tyranny, not from the outside, but from within!
We’re fighting with bullets of thought and printed word, we’re changing our lives constantly to keep up the resistance, AND IT’S WORKING!
I like where I am right now! If I didn’t, I’d leave in my time machine and never return!

Masculine but still very disposable. If you didn’t fulfill your masculine role, you were shamed for it. I’ll take modern times any day.

I’m actually pretty glad I live in this generation, It’s the healthiest, the most well educated, we have the internet, dope video games, unlimited access to free movies. Woman are whores and you no longer need to seriously commit to get between their thighs. Travel is quite safe these days and you can really explore everything the world has to offer. Also we have really good technology so we’re going to be in our 50’s feeling 30 and in our 70’s and looking/feeling 50.

100 years ago you’d be facing WWI and WWII and as a male you could get drafted with absolutely no say in the matter. That would f~~~ing suck at 18 years old and dying before ever even getting to experience life. Their wasn’t much entertainment to be offered at that point either. Just traveling, get togethers, boring music, and banging.

Seize the opportunities that life has to offer and navigate through the bulls~~~ as best you can is my advice.

you can go to war anytime you want? nothing holding you back…if you want to be a stupid pawn on the chessboard of the elites, do it. Be a “Freedom Warrior” and join the “peace-troops”.
No credit to anyone who goes to war from me.

Hey g-truther, sometimes the war comes to us! War knows only one thing, kill or be killed, it has no boundaries, it abides by no boarder, it just comes, it sweeps over, and it destroys! Look at feminism’s war on men! I praise and adore every man standing his post against this onslaught of tyranny! This time the war is inside our boarders, and there’s several players! There’s treachery and tyrants around every corner!
Look at America’s cities! It’s as if bombs have been falling for the past 50+ years!
A house divided can not stand! The divisions are multilateral, multi cultural, with tyrannical laws and orders!
MGTOW is a foxhole weather we like it or not!
I didn’t ask for this war on men, it was placed on me by this society’s sickness of gynocentrism, and feminism.
Any principality or person deemed to do you harm is your enemy!
By default you’re already at war….. The only other choice in this instance (war placed upon you) is to become a coward (mangina).

Being an adopted grandson of a Japanese woman who was 10 when we dropped the bombs on them and the grandson of a man who served in WWII on the U.S. side, I have a unique view of war from two very in depth descriptions of it from these two people. Without going into detail, I can respect individuals who have served, or are serving, but I reserve the right to not agree with what they are made to do, or the very institution that requires the submission of one’s own sovereignty, that allows it to be done. I miss both of these grandparents dearly, and respect them equally.

Living 100 years ago was NOT BETTER THAN TODAY.

Living without vacines, antibiotics and advanced medicine?
To die at age 40 from pneumonia?
To be just another disposable slave in a idiotic war?

    No, thanks.

Life today may be a bitch sometimes, but in the past you ended up dead.

Life today may be a bitch sometimes, but in the past you ended up dead.

I watch movies and read books that take place in the 1800s and sometimes wish that I lived in that era.

But I’m sure if you took a regular Joe from the year 1860 and showed him this future, he’d never want to f~~~ing leave. Yes, it’s true. We have medicines today that stop a sore throat and a cough in a matter of minutes when such s~~~ back then would leave you coughing blood and dying within a week. There was the American Civil War coming up. Most soldiers on both sides died from DISEASE brought on by dirty camp conditions. Medicines that’d have you on your feet in an hour today didn’t exist, so you’d be bound for an early grave. Getting shot at and given an amputation gave you a 50 percent chance to live at best.
And back then, MGTOW didn’t exist like it does today. Marriage was expected. Women sucked as much back then as they do right now, but back in those days, the law limited their bulls~~~, so they kept their bulls~~~ behavior within the confines of the house. And because the life span was much shorter back then, marriage was usually happening by the time you were 16.
Books were fewer, the entertainment was limited, and unsanitary conditions were rampant. Plus, the 8-hour work day didn’t exist. Many people were expected to work 14 to 16 hours a day for pennies on the dollar, even though pennies were more in value back then. And a lot of things that we take for granted weren’t around back then. Life was far more harsh back then. Yes, kids today are spoiled, soft-headed punks, but kids back then had 50 percent odds of dying in childbirth, and then having to fight for survival from every illness that came along while their immune system was still weak, so kids back then KNEW that life was tough, and they toughened with it.
And today’s kids think life is tough for them without an XBox, a cell phone, and a Facebook account. LOL.

    TO OLD SAGE:

A couple years after my wife died, I did some dating. It was very very educational. The ages ranged from 23 to 43. It was amazing how many wanted me to give them money… For No particular favors…
Not long after this life of dating started, I found Tom Leykis and MGTOW… And dodged that marriage bullet.
Long story short: I will not ever get married, I will not live with a woman, and if she wants to go out I will not be spending more than $50 … OR she can pay..
( I lean against the two tall pillars: stealth and the big red pill).

Yes, Sage, these ladies are a bit different than they were 50 years ago ….

    Your friend, HOMBRE
