Today I saw a advertisement of a online dating site that promotes finding the “right couple”

When I made a comment like it’s a money trap anyways. My mom asked me why. I told her that most of the women who go on dating sites are just trying to pick up manginas that will pay them whatever they want or something along those lines.

She got mad, and told me you haven’t even left the country to see the real world. (LOL, the real world) as well as meet more women in your life, and that you are living with two women in this house that are not like that at all. No where did I say that all women are like that. She also said that only losers go on dating sites to pick up people. This is coming from a house wife who while did a good job in raising me, she is not the exception to the rule on how gynocentrism western worlds are. and for the record she even threaten to kick me out for having those kind of thoughts.

When I tolded her that hookers are at least honest about what they do. And that is to get paid to have sex. Well the payment is so that person can leave when she is done as I’ve been told before. She responded that hookers have STDs and are not honest. Well average women can easily have STD and for the most part they are not honest. Again not all, but most.

I remember her telling me that she can get along better with older men, then with women her age. Gee I wonder why (sarcasm)

Although my sister is not interested in dating men. She does have a attitude issue like most young girls have, locks herself in her room, not look after the pet even though she used to a year ago. Gives attitude to her step-dad, and her real mom, and treats me like crap when she is pms.

Don’t get me wrong. I was lucky to experience this first hand in HS and then at the workplace after hearing stories about how dates tend to go wrong when men tries to date. Minus one or two workers who beat on their women when they get close.

And one time I said that I won’t be having kids because it’s too much of a hassle. Well now I can add, “I won’t be having kids since they are mostly used as a bargaining chip to trap a man.

Sorry for the edit. I tend to have grammar issues when it comes to topics like this.

PS. Why do people go against generalizations saying you can’t say that all this is that. Well to make my point I say most of so and so. If I say all, then I can see what you mean.

It’s called integrity. This comes from the same word as “integrated.” When thing are integrated, the different parts know of each other. For example, my right hand would know what my left hand is doing. On a psychological level, it would be knowing how I act in one situation and being consistent with that, telling myself the truth and being aware of things. That way, if I use one moral in one situation then another in another, I’ll spot it and figure out what the deal is.

It’s also humility, which is to accept information as it comes without trying to manipulate them to create a reality, since I know I cannot modify reality to any degree.

If I have integrity I’m consistent in all ways. I’ll let a generalization be what it is and not switch on the moral, but to understand the speaker’s meaning, even if it’s technically contradictory. Then I will have my hypocrisy to a minimum and I won’t say something like, “All those who generalize are idiots.”

PS. Why do people go against generalizations saying you can’t say that all this is that

That’s a really excellent question, coolthingy.

And it’s easy to understand. We have a huge article on generalizations which will answer it in detail. It may be an “aha” moment for you.

If you say “birds fly” that is a correct statement, even though “not all” birds fly.
Because it’s true that penguins, emus and ostriches don’t.

But the statement “birds fly” is accurate. MOST – almost all – birds as we know them fly.
Is it reasonable to negate that statement by saying “NOT ALL OF THEM!!!!!”

    ??

How the is anyone going to learn anything in this world if we don’t generalize?
To be a smart person, you MUST generalize – when you know the generalization is accurate.

Thinking 1% are “not like that” does not disprove the 99% that ARE.
    It’s a deflection.

Now when you have come to this realization, and someone says “Not all women are like that”. It’s a deflection too.

You can say to them: “Here is a box of hand grenades. Some of them are duds. Not all grenades will explode in your face. Go ahead! pull the pin! NOT ALL GRENADES ARE LIKE THAT!!!”.

Are they going to pull the pin? Is it SMART to pull the pin? Is it even worth it? Of course not.
The best thing that happens is you don’t die.
The situation fails a cost/benefit analysis.

Any sensible person can understand that, and when you turn the generalization around on them, they go totally speechless. Try it next time! These people who say “you can’t generalize” don’t really have a problem with “generalizations”. Because if you generalized “all women are beautiful” they would never object. No woman will get mad at you and say “NOT ALL OF THEM!!!!” even though its totally false. The only time they have a problem with “generalizations” is when you don’t demonstrate weakness and female worshipping behavior.

So don’t be fooled by that.
they are thinking in terms of the lowest common denominator.

PS. It’s a “Oh that’s makes a lot of sense!” type of deal for me. Good article.

    Good stuff.

The next time someone says “you can’t generalize like that!!” try the grenade analogy (from above). They will shut up really fast.
