I am not a fan of nationalism at all. I will come out and say this. About all -isms have things placed above my own interests, for the sake of something else. I know some, in response to the problems of globalization want to cling to nationalism as a solution, and see it as good. Taking in a pure form, not compromised for other things, nationalism demands the following:
* It demands loyalty to strangers in one’s own nation, who are citizens, over people who aren’t in your nation, who you know better, and are of greater value.
* It demands an irrational emotional attachment to various symbols, songs, and actions, as a sign of loyalty.
* It demands one compromise personal agendas for the sake of “greater good”.
* It demands loyalty to one’s own nation over personal convictions and religious beliefs.
* It will call men to die in wars, no matter how wrongly launched and follow through to completion.
* It presumes that strangers will likewise show loyalty to other strangers, so long as they are of the same nation.
* It dictates a set of cultural norms that must be adhered to, and will end up posting negative consequences on individuals who don’t follow these.
* It will often close off borders, and shut itself off from trade, and other commerce, reducing the standard of living of those in the country. Observe North Korea as an example of how nationalism will work.
* It will say that what is good for national corporations is good for the country, leading to a national version of different Industrial complexes.
* It will tell people to buy products of their own nation, no matter how inferior they are to imports or more expensive.

There are others. But, keep pushing nationalism? Well, I will go my own way, thank you…

May be what you define it to be. Not me.

For me it is about retaning a cultural identity and not letting people destroy your cutural identity. Because there is history tied to it and there are plenty of people today who want to rewrite history to suit their current agendas.

It is also just about having some reflection and respect in general for your country and what people before you have done to keep it going so you could have your chance there. Not to hide warts as every country has negatives in their past, but not to go overboard with self hatred anymore than any other countries do. The muslims have never apologized to all their atrocities, they still do them to this day. They only demand endless apologies from white majority countries and only demand white majority countries dilute their populations with unassimilated foreigners who rape and murder them.

A man whom does not stand for anything is hollow and nothing.

MGTOW by their nature stand for something, even if it is just believing in walking away from a bad deal.

The last century and a half of so-called “nationalism” has not been nationalism, but socialism, communism, globalism and other “isms” masquerading as “nationalism”.

The first signs of genuine nationalist movements coming back in recent times have been Brexit movement and President Trump’s political movement.

Nationalism by its nature is the belief of sovereignty from outside, foreign influences.

Most, if not all, of the bad s~~~ we have to deal with every day, from feminism, to high taxes, to more encroaching regulations, to a media out for blood, is funded, nurtured, and controlled by the unseen hands of foreigners.

Nationalism is the foundation of protection from outside influences. Without nationalism and sovereignty there is no foundation for society. In such a situation, those in control are carpetbaggers to convince everyone else to take what you have from you and given to the carpetbaggers.

You still have to live somewhere if you are not willing to fight for your home then you will become a victim in your home.

The reason we have nations is precisely because we are all not the same. We all have cultures that are significantly different enough that we want to preserve them. Nations do this. Globalists/one worlders believe the lie that we are all the same and should have no nations, and that they with their globalist secular morality determine which parts of peoples cultures should go away and what should be promoted. So far white cultures are getting decimated by them in favor of nonwhite cultures. In their own countries no less.

I see nationalism as a strong sense of pride in one’s own country, culture, uses and traditions, and the will to fight for and defend those from outside/external forces. There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.
