Doing things when others don’t is also a real good way to gain more free time. I am finding that Friday night or Saturday morning are good times to do laundry in a laundromat (I am renting a room now and need to go out to do my laundry). There is hardly anyone there when I get in, so get free reign of the place. I also have my job getting me out before rush hour. It is a good way to gain free time. Now, I believe it is important to find a good use for the free time you gain, or you risk getting bored.

When I was working as a cashier last year, I had a pretty hard time with the female customers. I stuck to one golden rule: “Just do your job, and don’t look them at the face if you can help it.” It works like a charm. Though I always greeted the older ones.
