The whole EU movement reeks of investment banking scam to me. They didn’t need to devalue currencies and wash out whole economies to have unified trade and travel laws. It was a false association from the beginning imo.

Globalization, and multinational corporations, demand streamlining of processes in order to maximize profits. Humans are disposable in the wake of this. Inventment bankers are one of the driving forces in this.

I hold the nationalistic side a bunch of suckers also, who presume that if you push nationalism enough, they will be ok and someone has their back, if only with enough laws, guns, and social pressure.
