I would want to hear thoughts on this here, in regards that if you go MGTOW, you will get a bunch of collective theoretical concerns that someone isn’t going to do squat about, but they expect you to comply.  Like the talk of future generations, women missing good men, and other things.  I could even go far as concern for the poor in third-world nations.  Is there a shame element to this that people would hate to be part of a society where they see homeless on the street, out of shame, but they don’t want to do anything personally about it?  These concerns are collective and impersonal.  I believe one can call the bluff on these and go on, but I see them there.

Anyone else see any of this and have thoughts?  A guy going MGTOW shouldn’t matter to anyone at all, but apparently some get offended.

You nailed it. That’s what they do to try to make us do what the want us to do.
Go for self-actualization. Ignore repetitive social rituals.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

If everyone focused on improving themselves, society as a whole would benefit from it.
And well, when it comes to society trying to guilt trip you, it’s most often just stuff people say to keep the “I’m a good person” facade, and nothing else.

It is a common failing of childhood to think that if one makes a hero out of a demon the demon will be satisfied.

Very true, Roydal. And besides there actually are some few good examples of MGTOW people who really do help homeless people in practice, ie. the “Mayor of MGTOWN”, which is something richardhutnik may not know about, but if you find Mayor of MGTOWN’s youtube channel you will find the project “helping the homeless” in at least one video which basically he set up on his own in a way like: helping the homeless to help themselves and to enable them to make money on their own, which I think is a great approach conducted by him. Ok, for the sake of argument for the time being that is only being practiced by very few and mainly being focused on some poor people in the US rather than in a third world country, all fair enough, but hey it’s a start after all and I’m sure in time more and more people will follow suit to that example.

I know I would do it, too if I could afford to, no sweat or hesitation there…

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

My feeling on this here, to add more, is there were social customs and traditions that likely developed for good reason, but then got disconnected from the social group they are in, float around mindlessly and induce people to guilt without anyone doing it.  These likely end up being things that people expect the government to pick up and do, like fight poverty, because people on their own really don’t want to or are able to, but it is something that should be done.  This detached guilt will be used by social movements and organizations to try to get resources.  The push for being a parent and so on, is part of that.  It is people actually not thinking about things, just feeling shamed.  There can also be seen detached social fear also, like dem dar terrorists and so on, or climate change (not saying it isn’t an issue, but it gets made to be the end all and be all).  It is like everyone is in the machine, and no one wants to assume responsibility for anything (I overstate here, speaking in context of these impersonal collective concerns).

Now I am having visions of the movie Cube, in how people in the machine built the machine they are in that will kill them, but they were just following orders, or doing their jobs, and not seeing things, and not acting locally.

With myself, I am looking to avoid this stuff and do for myself.  I got all the pitches regarding why to not be single, “A guy married a chubby woman who adores him”, and “Look at the faces of these children” and it leaves me flat, doesn’t help me be more of a man, and isn’t something I can act on.  Other things are the various pleas to do slacktivism, like the Kony bit, and Tumblr SJWs fall into that.  The Ice Bucket Challenge got fueled by it also.

The thing is, what used to score points with the powers that be doesn’t do it any longer.  But it is still there.  No one takes ownership of things, they just expect someone else to do it, and if it isn’t done, the government failed, or something.

Going to the Mayor of MGTOWN YouTube channel, and seeing a bit on that, it piqued my interest.  I do believe if MGTOW can help other MGTOW go their own way, and stand on their own feet, and be able to make it, everyone benefits.  So, there is good there.  I would like to see what can be done.  It is horrible someone falls that far, and then is forced to beg and not be empowered.

By the way, if anyone wants to look into this more, check out this link I found on the Mayor page:

People are being taught not to think ….. well ….. not to think about the real important stuff.

People are being taught not to question. What happened to real investigative journalism …. Fox News?

The masses are being show ‘other’ wars elsewhere …. but not the hidden one on their doorstep.

The ‘useful idiots’ are being born, educated and released in increasing numbers.

Hell even the f~~~ing food will dumb you down.

In the movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” Russel Brand’s character performs a song called “Somebody has to do something”. Now I can’t stand Russel Brand but nevertheless it sums up what passes as “Activism” now days.

Things like the Ice Bucket Challenge, as much as I have heard about it I still can’t tell you what cause it is for! As far as I can tell it involves people daring their mates to pour buckets of water over themselves.

All these concerts for causes, the Live Aid event in the 80’s where people donated money so that the warlords in Africa could buy more arms and intercept the food convoys. No wonder people are still starving in Africa yet all the militia groups remain well armed and active.

Speaking of which what about “Bring back our girls” I am positive that a Boko Haram fighter would be s~~~ting himself at the sight of Sean Penn holding up a sign. Yes, they really showed them!

It’s just a joke, here in Australia we have Earth Hour which I believe is world wide, we turn off lights for a whopping hour, the problem is to set that up we have electricians driving around the city setting up the switchboards in various buildings thus pumping out extra carbon monoxide! Oddly enough we also have a festival called “White Night” here which involves a spectacle of lighting all over the buildings in the city all lit up at night, I hope that Earth Hour makes up for that!

That’s the kind of thing that just really p~~~es me off, the contradictions, the ever changing rules and expectations of Political Correctness, the double standards and bigotry from the Left who claim to be about tolerance but are anything but tolerant.

The death of critical thought, don’t like a song on Youtube – You Hater! Don’t like Obama – You’re Racist! Like Hunting? – You Murderer!

Recently in Australia there were people going berserk because 2 Australians were executed in Indonesia for drug smuggling and also being stand over men, these 2 men forced others to also be drug smugglers, people were actually protesting to save them!  These same idiots who claim that execution is murder were quite comfortable suggesting that the SAS and military should be sent in thus sparking a war! Not to mention that there seemed to be a lack of protesting when 88 Australians were killed in a terrorist attack in Indonesia some years back.

I will stop my rant on this topic as I feel I could just keep going. But as stated for me it is more the hypocrisy than anything else that p~~~es me off.

“Do something!” is some sort of vague detached guilt driver that is used, like “vote” to drive up some guilt in order to for a movement/organization to harvest a bit of crumbs so it can survive, and placate guilt.  Produce guilt where there was none prior, in order to placate it and think you added something.  Con artists jump right into this to, and run non-profit scams.

I would say, do something meaningful, that you can make a meaningful impact with, you know can make a difference, not for placating guilt.

World is a giant FUBAR. I am not just MGTOW over women, but over the world for the reasons stated above.

Humanity isn’t worth saving and we individuals, the few who bother to critically think, won’t be able to go against the numbers of idiots. You can’t fix stupid.

I used to bother enough to talk about it and get angry about the world, but I realize regardless of blogging about it, only those who are aware will understand, those who don’t will carry on their way. And along the way I get laughed for it. I say let the rest decide to raise their level of consciousness, then the world will change for the better.

But as someone said even the food is weaponized, so I don’t know if the cause is completely lost.

The Monks of the past saved western civilization in tradition, while storing books and building monastic communities.  I would say, along the lines of that, to be able to save what is of virtue and let the rest burn off, and then be able to dictate on one’s own terms with the world.  One can go the gated community route, or be more open.  I am more of the later, but I am not about to go and just go along now. I have to make it somehow.

Its called the synopticon. Mathiesen envisioned it as a large, circular prison, where everyone can see into everyone else’s cell and they all keep each other in line via constant surveillance of the masses by the masses. It was seen as a replacement for the panopticon, the same construct but with a guard tower in the center, to monitor them at all times. The idea is that if you’re constantly being watched and constantly being judged, and you know you’re constantly being watched and being judged, it keeps your behavior in line. Of course these are just metaphors for social constructs that mimic the same effect. A good example of the panopticon would be the NSA, or big brother. A good example of the synopticon, would be facebook. It becomes this hive mind of social oppression that demands conformity. To whatever socialized goals it may come up with. Right now, they want to frame anyone who doesn’t support bruce jenner cutting his c~~~ off as intolerant. Personally i think assisted castration is just as bad as assisted suicide, but you try arguing with the synopticon.

I was reading a book by Don Miguel Ruiz about how the toltec were being persecuted by the christians so they hid their wisdom away in churches, passing it down from generation to generation in secret until a time when they could once again speak freely about it. A desperate move, for sure, but it sure beats burning, dying, or conforming.

I think people with an absence of creativity or positive spirit use guilt to attempt to motivate themselves and other people into actions.

That or people just like to repeat pleasantries to gain approval from others.
No one is ever going to disagree with you if your opinion is ‘poverty is bad, people should do something about it’. It fills the silence in between conversations about reality television and who Jessie is now banging from accounting.

Don’t ever forget that it is easier to complain about something than actually do anything. People agree with complaints. People disagree with actions. (You after all might not be ‘helping’ the poor in the correct way according to some, and we all know nothing hurts more to most people than social disapproval)
