Guys, I learned about MGTOW two days ago, and can’t believe I’m only just learning about it now.  I immediately could identify with this group.  Allow me to explain…

Several years ago, I met my fiancee and we hit it off.  After dating for 3 years, we got engaged.  Months after the engagement, we moved into a home together.  We purchased that home and had both names on the title.  The caveat is, I wound up putting the full down payment.  I also paid for everything for the home.  All the furniture, home repairs, building materials, contractors, etc that are required when a new home is purchased.  Needless to say, I spent quite a chunk of change.

Fast forward 6 months, and the relationship took a full nosedive.  Ultimately my fiancee told me she wanted the relationship to end.  It sucked at first, but what made me strong was to see the greedy c~~~’s true nature: she wanted her “half”.  Given that I paid for everything for the home, naturally I was resilient.  Since we were not legally married, and since the home had been recently purchased, I convinced her to just remove herself from the title, otherwise it might take forever to sell (this was back during the days of the GFC).  Thank God I was able to save my home and be rid of her.

It has been nearly 3 years since this all took place, and not a day goes by that I feel lucky to be a MGTOW.  I look back and can’t believe I tolerated all the crap I did when we were together.  I have gone out with at least a dozen different women, and had the chance to experience a variety of personalities.  In the end, I made it clear to many of those women that if marriage ever became a discussion, then an ironclad prenup would be required.  WOW!  That certainly p~~~es off a lot of them.

I have a girlfriend now, and she is understanding that I am too materialistic to ever get married and lose half of my s~~~.  She even agrees with me that prenups are a must in every relationship.  Luckily she has never mentioned marriage, and she knows I have no intention to ever bring it up either.

I gotta say man, you dodged one hell of a bullet. That’s probably as good as these sort of things tend to go.

You sir are correct.  I even mentioned to my friend the other day how lucky I am to have gotten away; I just can’t believe how this world works.  I’m reminded of a story my coworker told me about his best friend getting divorced.  He essentially lost all of his money and assets.  What a f~~~ed up world we live in.

I’m new here on this board and website. First off let me say i have been married twice and the first didn’t understand when your married you can’t date! Even caught her on DATES with other men while hanging out with my boys. She sat two rows in front of me not knowing I was there watching batman forever!

But any way I’m getting off point. The point is I’m a police officer of 20 years that has been to an astronomical amount of domestic violence calls. The law states “primary physical aggressor”. Every time I take the female to jail. I swear they all say. ” this isn’t the way this is support to work!” Not to mention the courts drop all cases! Even a recent male that was stabbed In the chest with a butcher knife!!

“Boo” to a woman, she can imprison you with her lies… Chop a brother up with a butcher knife, It’s OK he’s just another beat bag……..

Yea it also always makes me wordless, why is it ok when a woman physically attacks a man? They’re always the innocent.
