I heard that it can prevent cancer in men from sexual activity? but most men don’t actually get it. Did anyone here actually get it and how does it help?

See i am a teenager who in a few years will most likely be highly sexually active and i want to know if it actually works or not? since i don’t need to develop some form of cancer just because of 30 minutes of some action and i wonder if it will protect me in the case.

Well I’m no doctor, but I’ve heard of some deaths related with the HPV vaccine, I honestly thought that was more of a woman thing since I saw on TV mass vaccination of teen girls.

If the vaccine kills then get me some scientific evidence on it such as the causes of death which the vaccine brings then ill think more into it. I know there is corruption in the Medical community but i need better resources then completely biased conspiracy sites.

Now while i am really afraid of death and dying however i want a clear resource on the vaccine and its effects without any bias from any group that believes that prayer is more powerful then medicine.

HPV will increase the risk of cervical cancer in women if it is not caught and treated early. Even if you use a condom, HPV can be spread by kissing or oral sex. That is why the number is so high, I think the last study said 80% of men and women who were asked experienced HPV in their lives.

Men do contract HPV, but men do not experience symptoms and HPV is usually expelled by the body (a healthy body) in a couple years. Of course smoking and poor diet will cause the virus to stay in a system longer.

Don’t stress out about HPV, but do stress about the other STD’s like syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and of course HIV. Media outlets love to sensationalize things, and HPV is one of them. HPV causes your cells to replicate uncontrolled. This causes tumors. A tumor does not have to result in cancer. Most tumors are benign. This means they don’t spread through the body and they do not continue to grow indefinetly.
In the case of HPV, warts are usually the result of this uncontrolled replication. Relatively harmless.

As with most carcinogenic influences the risk is cumulative. A bit like crossing the road. Each time there is a small chance you miss a car and get hit. The more often you cross the road the more likely it is you will get hit.
This means the longer you are infected the more likely it is that a cell turns into a cancer cell.

You can still contract HPV while wearing a condom and don’t worry about getting cancer from it. Less than 1% of males developed cancer from a HPV strand. It is incredibly contagious and can be spread even through oral sex. Unless you have a uterus, you don’t need to worry. The vaccine can also only be injected into a male from age 9 to 26. It can help stop the spread of cancer but unless you are sick or have an immune disease, nothing to worry about.
